Title: :muffin: Pony Dye Color
Post by: ZarineBashire on January 28, 2012, 05:31:08 PM
This is a question posed at anyone who's done a :muffin: Pony custom and dyed the pony, what base did you use and what dye(s) did you use? My ex has really gotten :muffin: Pony fever and I'd like to make him one.

I'm not sure anyone has actually dyed a pony to get :muffin: Pony's color yet, I think we've all just done FBRs.

I think I've mostly seen FBR.. esp. with G4s because something about the plastic for the body hates Dye...

Yeah, I imagine that would be REALLY hard to dye. G4 ponies tend to take dye pretty unevenly, so doing light colors is really hard. I don't know of anyone who's done :muffin: Pony that way.

yes dyeing the G4's can be tricky. PinkiePie's are a pain! she got purple chicken pox hours after she was dyed and set.  the only one that came out was a Blossomforth and Rarity deyed black, and that posed some issues.

for :muffin: Pony I would try a RainbowDash and dip her in the pear gray. if it doesn't work you can always do a FBR. goodluck!
