It is, it's a bit of a pain to find here as well though xD
I have couple of issue 3s I keep meaning to put in my sales thread.
It's a cute magazine, with cute but cheap gifts. But it's a far cry from what the other mlp centric magazines have been. :(

it is a very nice magazine, it has puzzles,coloring, drawing, and mlp comics and stories ect., I have seen second hand copies bring 10-25 dollars on ebay, very hard to find! I dont think that they print alot of copies of them. and yes gazzy90 it comes out once a month, I think issue 4 came out yesterday. it is pretty cheap when you consider that most magazines in the u.s seem to be 5.99 off the rack, and these will be collectors items (they already are! try finding a copy on ebay or anywhere!)

£49 comes to $80-ish, which is about $6.50 per issue, not bad when you average it out.
It's something I'd definitely consider, 'cause it is pretty rad.

they are so hard to find in the us! I have seen a total of one on ebay.uk and i think it sold for like 25 GBP . they are so cool!

I'm tempted...I bought the first 2, but meh I was so disappointed with the first issue. The sudoku didn't even work and there were tons of typos, spelling and grammar mistakes and naming inconsistencies. Drove me mad! Think I must have missed the 3rd issue so maybe I'll stop buying them now xP They're pretty expensive since you could buy a REAL magazine wat cheaper!

We're on issue 4. I only know the last two issues gifts, a toy camera for issue 3 and a toy guitar for issue 4. I have photos in my sales thread. :)

they just emailed and said that they would start my one year subscription with issue 4! has anypony else subscribed? I am still on the lookout for issue one(they said they was sold out for now) so if anypony has one i would love to buy it from you:)

I would guess they will happily take subscriptions - these sit in my local Tesco on the shelf for ages!!! I guess FiM aint all that popular around here!

I really like the idea of the magazine, especially as I have such fond memories of the G1 comics, but the quality doesn't seem all that, and the price is just too much for my piece of mind.
Given how much they're apparently selling for I don't half wish I'd bought them and ebayed them though!

I mean this in the nicest way possible...but are these really popular? They are very poor quality and the "prize" is terrible!!!! I guess its "anything with FiM" on it nowadays!!!

I saw one of these at my local newsagents and was very shocked! - My area is usually terrible for things MLP! I took a look at it and felt I just couldn't justify buying it. The first thing I noticed was the (pretty big!) toy that came with it. Can't remember what it was. I flicked through and it was just like any other small kids magazine. I think I might just start buying them though for collection purposes. I can see the toys perhaps fetching a lot of money too.

We have them in here too. I only buy them when there is a cool free gift, which is hardly every these days. The last 4 issues have had generic plastic jewelry and note pads. Not even MLP.
Other countries that have them are: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Holland and Germany.
And I have a spare of UK issue 2 if anyone needs it. I'll also happily pick up Czech ones if anyone feels the need :)

Haha, I've noticed a ton of UK magazines that, for some reason, have difficulty spell checking.
MLP, Disney Magazine, Annuals (at least the Pokemon one had multiple spellings of 'Pikachu' everywhere)... It's quite alarming that they warrant such a high price for such poor quality :(

I think its just when I compare the content and quality to other magazines in the same market and magazines in "days gone by" these feel a little thrown together.
I am not saying they are now something people will enjoy just that for the retail price what you get doesnt seem to equate thats all. But thats just my opinion!

Cute magazine, it kind of reminds me of when I use to be a subscribe to Nakayoshi, a Japanese manga magazine, in order to get the freebies it came with. What can I say I'm a sucker for small, cute, girlie things.
I don't think I'll get the My Little Pony magazine though, as it doesn't look like it will have a lot of content and the freebies don't seem worth it. Now if it came with things like pencil cases, pens/pencils, make-up bags, flip-flops, etc. like Nakayoshi did I would subscribe in a heart beat. :P

It's quite good for kids actually (to use), but wow as a collectors item the EXTREMELY bad alignment problem with the printing really annoyed me. It was especially annoying as it affected one page of the cut-out valentine cards and the cut-out game (the poster was ok at least) so maybe even for children's use it would be annoying (wonky printed cards?) What a shame

Oh gosh, Japan have the best freebies, IMHO. Whenever I visit Japan there's just so many different magazines I want to take home with me mainly for the high quality freebies, but they'd weigh my suitcase down too much! :yikes:
I'd love to see a high quality FiM strap for my phone in a future issue, still.

I have not had any problems with any of the mlp magazines I have bought so far, It is a small company that prints them ,so I am sure they all can not be perfect, I do love to read them.

Germany has magazines as well, I am not sure whether they are the same ones or not. But Wow, I could not even justify spending money on them. The toy looks totally useless, the paper is horrible, and the stories and drawings are just filling paper. Nothing special at all. And thet want like over 2 EUR for one if I remember correctly. I am going to stick to completing my G1 magazine collection.

I think these are pretty cute, but I don't need a subscription myself~ When it was still G3 based my stepfather occasionally brought these back with him from business trips. I think it sounds like the quality is still the same, and I know they're not something I'd really do much with. That said, it's still neat that there's a magazine. If I were a child I'd be super excited to get these in the mail and do the activities.

I've caved in and bought me one of these! They were selling a lot at my local Tesco.
I will take pictures and also do a video review for you guys who want to see everything inside, etc!

I think local newsagents might be less reliable than the big retail shops - the same thing happened with my local. I'd definitely advise checking out your local big Tesco for them. :)
