I make lollipop hair pins and I figured I would try my hand at cutie marks. Most of my lollipops are just swirls but I had fun with this one. I wasn't sure what to put on the other side and barb suggested I do rainbow dash old and new mark. I thought it turned out well. I'll be selling these for $20. I do have scents, if you would like them scented.

Front and back. Colors are not perfect but that will be difficult because there aren't enough shades of beads. I will get them as close as I can tho. It looks green in the light but it is blue. When I finish it, I will show how it is worn. Prolly post those tmrw. If interested let me know. It will be up to the buyer what goes on the other side, opposite the chosen cutie mark.

Thanks. I love beading but have never had the skill my mom does. She does a lot of native American designs but I just can't come up with them. I like doing the lollipops because people take a second look when I wear them.

Kaoskat: took two days. Only because I broke a needle and it made it a bit difficult to finish. Lol. If I did nothing else, I can finish one on a day.
Colorscapesart: this is actually the first time I didn't bead the design first, then fill in with the rest of it. I just kept going around in a circle. My mom was very impressed and that made me happy. I prefer the shiny beads to the flat colors. I like how they catch the light. I'm gonna post a pic of it in my hair to show how it works.

They also fit through the tops of braids as well. I usually use it to hold my hair in place when I make a bun.

Thank you. The next one I do, I will have to show how it looks in a braid. I think I might do a brother cutie mark next. Those will be fun.

Wigwam lollipop hair pin. Serious pain but hoping to do better on the other ones.
Have a request for a bubbles and am going to be doing a fizzy as well.

Very nice, I'm sure the Bubbles and Fizzy ones will be quite cute too! I love how they represent the images we know and love, but in a fun and slightly abstracted way.

Thanks. I need to work on making these pics a smaller before I post them. I really had no idea what to put on the opposite side of each cutie mark because I didn't want it to be the same on both sides. The brothers will be easier, simply because they wore hats and I can put their hats on the other side, but the girls are difficult. Rainbow Dash was easy because she had to different designs of the same mark but the G1's are the ones I am trying to focus on a bit more. Was thinking of putting a jewel or something on the other side, for the jewel eyed ponies. Maybe a horse shoe for the earth ponies. I might just leave it up to whoever wants one. I really enjoy making these. It is frustrating and relaxing at the same time. Figure since I am not good at making pony customs, I can make something that shows off peoples pony love on an every day basis.

Chief lolli. It was hard to do the ladder with the fire hose but I am going to fix it if anyone is interested in it. Think I might do tex next because his looks like the easiest one. Well, after I do a bubbles and fizzy one. Those two have been requested.
