Title: My 200th pony!
Post by: reanna-mator on January 23, 2012, 06:42:10 PM: Whew! It doesn't seem long ago that I reported my 100th pony, Powder, but the 200th pony to join my herd is Ember!

I'm still working on finally getting a group herd picture that does all my girls (and guys) justice, but I can't get over how cute Ember is! Even my roommate (who mostly just likes G4) burst into laughter over how cute she is.

So... to encourage discussion, are there any ponies in your herd that you consider to be representative of a particular milestone in your collection?

What I have so far:
-First pony was Parasol
-First baby was Cherries Jubilee
-First completed set was the 1st year rainbow ponies! :)

I wonder who my 100th will be? Someone special? ^_^ -excited-

I hope so! But then, I think that your 100th pony might just be special because she (or he) is your 100th pony! :) I've had ponies that arrived in my herd quietly and with little consequence that ended up being favorites. I received my G3 Bow Tie as a bait but couldn't help fix her up instead. As I did, her hair fell around her eyes so that, when she's displayed, her hair falls on either side of her nose and hides her eyes in the most adorable way, and I just fell in love with her. You never know what will happen, and that's part of what keeps collecting fresh to me.

I think a HUGE milestone for me was when I got Tropical Breeze, my 13th and final flutter pony. Such a triumph! I'd been at that for about 2 years. Then I got original wings for all of them, and most of their combs, and took a group pic:
