Another commission request for my main customer. After this, I only have two more requests of hers to make, out of like 20+ requests! .....then it'll be time for her to get me started on the rest of her requests. XD Hoo boy! She really knows what designs to request based off of my portfolio... she's good at sticking within criteria and subject-matter based around my skills. It's been such a huge joy making all her requests, and I was able to juggle them with my motivation.
This job is to take the g1 flutterpony named Hollywood and transform her into a generation 3 custom with a silver gown and 40's style starlet hairdo.

Generation 3 pony base is of a pink donkey pose that I gave a full body repaint in magenta acrylics. Eyes are acrylics in purples, browns grays blacks and metallics. Eyeshadow started off with a dark gold pigment that blended to a yellow gold pigment blended to metallic champagne, blended to silver blended to matte medium soft pink blended to neon pink.
Under the eyes is a medium light brown blended to neon pink that resulted in a reddish hue.
Star symbols are layered in charcoal black, metallic pewter, metallic gold and gold glitter acrylics.
Mane and tail are re-rooted on dollyhair's authentic Hasbro pony hair in the colors of white witch and butter creme.
Silver gown is entirely hand-sewn in silver material; bottom of gown is hemmed in jewels that costed $22.00 per yard but I'm cheap and ponies don't require much so I got 1/2 a yard. XD
Detailed in silver rope, silver and gray ribbon, pink pearls beads, glass beads and white pearl beads.
Wings are a experiment, and something I'm looking into incorporating my own method wing-making from now on- mesh material wrapped around delicate wire then layered and the wire fastened into the back of the pony and clamped inside the pony's body permanently securing it.

She looks great!

That is pink in the pinkest most pink way possible, lol. I love her outfit, the silver looks so good with everything.

She feels very lush, I think you really captured "Starlet" well.

Thanks :) I'm finding I really enjoy making g1's to g3's with outfits that match their theme, and their own expression... when I get into more personal project mode I might have to do a candy series in Harajuku theme. <.<
