Title: I was just the victim of a Random Act of Kindness!
Post by: Eskara1862 on January 23, 2012, 10:44:11 AM: So, about an hour ago, I was helping this customer at work. She was chatting with one of the sales reps and apologized for ignoring me. I told her not to worry, I was just sitting here admiring her earrings. She smiled, pulled them out, and gave them to me! They perfectly match my outfit today and are so my style.

I'm still giddy/giggly over this. I have seriously never had anything like this happen to me before!

I had a situation while at the local thrift store... I was buying something for $1, and realized when going for my change that my husband took it all out of my wallet for some reason (still not sure why. I knew I had a toonie in there and it was gone). the gentleman behind me noticed my panicked look (and me saying I felt really silly but I'd have to go pull out some cash) and just paid for it for me right there. I was so... happy! And I felt so blessed! Made me want to do all sorts of nice things for anyone I would see.

I actually have a nickel allergy, so I just switched out the hooks on the earrings I was wearing with the new ones =) Good thing there was a pair of pliers nearby!

I still get this goofy grin whenever I think of how nice she was. Fortunately, she has to come back because we didn't have a part she needed. This will give me time to make a plate of chocolates for her and get a thank you card. That way, I'll be ready when she comes back!

But they look totally adorable on you :D That was so nice of her to give them to you :3 As for my story, when my dog ate the ears off of my childhood near mint So Soft Wind Whistler, a very kind member here at the arena sent me a package with a custom pony covered in ladybugs with bright curly red hair, candy, and a card with a drawing of a Wind Whistler that said "Sorry to hear your day was crappy, hope this RAOPK makes you happy!" And it TOTALLY did :D I still have the card on my memory board hanging in my kitchen to this day with all my other special cards and things :3
