Gosh...remember the days of the cassette recorder [*sigh* reminiscing!]
Anyway on to my actual point here...I am in the middle [actually only about a 100th of the way into] my "clear out" of the boxes and drawers of accessories and items I have built up and came across, what I thought was the yellow cassette from Listen n Fun Ember but....
This one is yellow, it has the blue sticker on the front, in fact the design of the sticker is identical but it is called "Embers" not "Embers Dream", the story is written by Dr Z and not by Merrill Farnsworth and it says Listen n Play on the back rather than Listen n Fun....
Can anyone tell me what this cassette originally came with?

Well, there is a Colorform book called "Embers" which features Firefly and some other ponies (but not Ember) . . . I think it did come with a cassette, that told the story of Firefly rescuing a sailboat from a storm, or something like that.

I know this is a little off topic, but it would be so cool if someone could rip these tapes and post them to youtube as I have ALWAYS been curious about them!

Mermaid, Breyer ripped some mlp cassette tapes. One of them is embers dream I think, but I can't find the link to the upload. PM your email if anyone wants the .mp3 file.

Oh - now maybe thats where its from - I ll have to keep an eye out - thank you. Believe it or not I dont even have a cassette player any more so I cant listen to it lol!

Casette players tend to be somewhat rare in this day and age....I don't have one either!
I wonder if anyone does here?

No, it's a different tape from Ember's Dream.
I don't think I've ever heard the Embers tape, but I do have the Colorform book and I think it says something in the front about listening to the tape. I will check if I can find the book, but I'm not sure where it is right now . . .

There's one at my grandparents' place, but I think it's broken :/
I still have a VCR tho.

yeah, I think it is the one that came with that coloring book. As for casette players, I have one and some impressive quality ripping software so if no one's ripped any casette if I mannaged to get a copy I'd do it. But the problem is finding a good enough conditioned one.
