I got MineCraft! Finally. Here in Washington, we've been getting quite a lot of snow, and Thursday it stated melting so the weight of the snow was breaking down trees and branches (our back yard looks like a mess) so we couldn't leave the house. Which sucks, since I was gonna get the train set and two blindbags (Roseluck and Flower Wishes) at Wal-Mart. But, me and my brother got MineCraft. Sadly, since we got it downloaded on my dad's computer, we won't be able to play it when he's on his computer (he's constantly playing Star Wars The Old Republic, I think he's addicted to it). Luckily, we'll be able to play before school since he's at work, and when he's out of the house.
And I can't seem to find any coal on the game yet. Odd.... It's suppose to be common (I should know, I'm watching 4 LPs of it on YouTube currently). Without coal, I can't make torches. And no torches means I can't explore caves. Which means no diamonds, gold, etc.

Minecraft is one of my favorite games. The only reason I have not been playing as much is because I got Skyrim and it's a bit addicting.
Some info about your coal/torch issue: get yourself a furnace and burn some wood from the trees. (1 slot you put the wood, 2nd slot is anything that can burn which includes stikes, more wood, tree saplings, ect.)
You might also want to check out minecraft wiki. It has alot of useful information including the reciepes for crafting.

Minecraft is the BEST. I've been experimenting with texture packs, it's fun, you should try!

Minecraft is so fun! :D My boyfriend and I are hopelessly addicted, lol.
And to be able to play on multiple computers, you could have multiple worlds or download Dropbox and copy your save into it every time you finish playing. :)

I've tried the free-be Minecraft on their site, and had lots of fun. I'm considering getting the game, so that way my projects actually are saved ;) I'd mostly get it for the creative free mode.
Actually - I have a question for any Minecraft experts - do the add-on pack things work with the creative mode? Mainly I want the animal one (with all the bunnies). :)
