Hey everyone!
Cook human had a amazing custom idea that I scooped up and Threw into my mixing bowl of Idea's.
RJ MacReady was fully sculpted with Apoxie sculpt and Super sculpy. They were hand painted with model masters and Sealed for protection.
The Thing was Sculpted out of Apoxie sculpt and just a single pony head turned upside-down. The legs were made from a Stout thick gauge wire as to stay sturdy, and then sculpted over with apoxie sculpt..
This was a really fun Custom to work on from feathering his hair (lol) to making the spider still keep the look of a pony head and still look crazy.

Holy *that's not PG* !!! The Thing is my favorite movie ever and THAT is one of the most amazing custom(s) I have EVER seen EVER. I'm insanely jealous of Cookhuman now and will be until the end of time.

Seriously, it is the most amazing custom set ever, right???
BK - As I said before, Mac and the Thing are the most badass things I have ever seen. I have always wanted them made into customs, but didn't have the skill to make them myself or couldn't find the right person to commission. And then you busted out that Skyrim custom and I knew you were the perfect person for the job. You certainly didn't disappoint. You have a real gift and talent for sculpting and painting. I can't thank you enough for taking this commission on.
And for anyone wanting to commission BK: he works extremely quickly, has very reasonable prices, and stayed in constant contact with me...such a pleasure to work with. :)

Fantastic customs! The sculpting detail looks spot on and as far as The Things goes, perfect! Love that you used a pony head as a starting point, staying so true to the film.
