I sprinkled baking soda on a pony, and then sprayed it with white vinegar I had in a spray bottle, and rubbed a bit.
Now it looks like the cancer/age spots are much lighter on both ponies! Not gone, but faded till they are hard to see. One pony was a chief, and the spots are a light tan, and on my baby Hopscotch, I have to look for the spots now to find them, they are just a few shades different then her body color.
I'm not sure if my eyes are just tricking me, though, so I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but it might be worth a try?

Do you have another pony to experiment on?
If you do, take pics of before and after using the same lighting and backdrop. If there is a change, it might show up on the pics :)

It might be possible that they faded . I havent tried the method you did yet, but I know that some cancer spots will fade like that using Vanish oxy-action/oxyclean ;) . Definitely worth a try on another pony or 2 and taking pics like OL1 said . I'll give it a go myself next time I get a pony with cancer spots :awake:

I'll try this on my spotty Gingerbread once I get some vinegar!

I have never tried it before, I hope it has shrunk them for you & it isn't just some sort of optical mind trick. That would be awesome, even if it didn't get rid of the spots, smaller is better :)

I was going to go try it on my Chief but didn't have the Baking soda...lol

I might have to try it. I've got a Quarterback and 4-Speed that are starting to show cancer... they're not too bad but I would rather see them cancer free if possible.

I might just give this a try. :o
