Sister Apple Delight - eye color
« on: March 23, 2012, 07:53:16 AM »
When I was moving my ponys around I saw that my two Sister Apple Delight had different eye color; one has purple an done has blue.
Are they from different edition or something?

Thank for the help :)

I know that there are eye color variants in the UK family. My UK apple delight family members that came together (mum dud and baby sister) have purple eyes, but the baby brother I got separately has blue.

My set's North American, and all their eyes are all lavender. =3  Maybe Hasbro packaged up extras to sell in the UK?  My UK Baby brother apple delight has purple-pink eyes.

If its not a simple HK/China difference...I would simply come down on "batch difference"....thousands of these ponies were made, with multiple different colour paint batches and probably in more than one factory...and blue/purple eye ponies are notorious to having variations in both colours [Cotton Candy, Moondancer, etc etc] plus the easily leaching red pigment seems to change purples to blues a lot...

Its always cool to have more than one of the same pony which such minor differences! Congrats
