It works out around $4 a pony, so I wouldn't say it is overly priced.

It's a nice lot but I don't see one pony that would be considered rare. Even at $4 per pony it does seem high to me. Maybe because I got most of those ponies for under $4 a piece? I'm not sure.

other than there being over 100 ponies and accessories, who knows why it got up that high. i did see that there was a lil tot pony. maybe that did it.

Maybe they lived near by so could pick them up? Then the price per pony would be ok. Gosh so many ribbons, they never come up here in nz

I ll second this...I dont think thats too bad a price at all...if you were to try and put that lot together from "fresh" it would run you more than $400...by the time you have tracked down each little item and each pony.

Blimey I wouldn't have paid that for that lot either. I see some good things like a mint scoops with apron....the carrycase has some stickers in there, lots of so softs..sea ponies and satin n lace.. but still as a lot, after shipping, it would be too much for me.

The SS ponies look pretty nice. SS LS looks like some nice pink hair and curls. It looks like LS rather than SNL, so I hope people did not bid hoping to get SS SNL....

That is a bunch of money to put down at 1 time, but Shipping for a single pony is nearly $2 within the USA...To ship 100 ponies individually trying to track them down would be about half the auction cost in shipping alone.

Maybe the winner will get lucky with Sunbeam's crown- the last crown I need!

They all look really nice and clean. Maybe  alight wash here and there and some mane/tail washing and you could display them I think maybe it went that high because they are some really nice and clean looking ponies? Nothing really rare in particular as far as I can see

I think this is kinda like a treasure hunt lot.  You can't really see the accessories, so who knows what all might be in the box?    The ponies look clean, too.  Look how white Glory is!  Decent price per pony plus all sorts of mystery.  I love big lots like this from non-collectors.  They can be quite fun to unpack and sort.

it looks like someone is basically selling their whole collection in one swoop.  405 doesn't seem too bad, but I wouldn't do it, for some reason I like getting ponies one by one.
