Has anyone ever rehaired a Mimic?

I was looking at the chewy Mimic I bought a couple of weeks ago and thought "well, at least her hair isn't cut" but then I began to wonder what she'd look like with other colors in her mane and tail Does anyone have a Mimic or custom Mimic replica that they've done an alt-rehair for, or is she just one that everyone rehairs to match the original?
Oh! And pics would be AWESOME!

I had a conversation a while back over on MLPTP about rehairing a Munchy with a mo hawk and through the discussion someone linked a really awesome mimic rehair..

I have a Mimic in need of new hair once I finish restoring her otherwise, but I think I will just go with the original colors. I think her color set is really beautiful as it is.

Those rehairs turned out incredibly! Wow!! *swoons* Never a big Mimic fan until I had a couplee go through my hands last year...I couldn't justify keeping such a valuable pony when i had bills, but when this one I have now came up I snatched her right away! People keep asking "What's so great about Mimic?" I think she's one you have to see in person to get just how lovely she is...I get it now!!
Please, keep the rehairs coming! I'm loving this

I can't imagine Mimic with anything but "Mimic" hair, so I had to check this out.  And she is BEAUTIFUL! I love it.  Gives her a whole new look.

As for me, I've only done one custom G4 Fashion Style Mimic, and of course I had to give her the standard Mimic haircolors.  For me, I just love her color scheme.

She's not really anything special, but then again she was my first custom... so I'm kinda fond of her.

I think that if you're going for completing the TE set, I'd recommend rehairing her in her "correct" colors.  If you don't care about that, and if she's a real restore project (with chew marks, etc), I'd say choose whatever colors you like! I think she'd be pretty with the dark pink stripe as her mane color, and maybe some orangey yellow (to match her symbol/parrot's beak). I also think she'd look cool with red, orange, yellow hair or even electric rainbow colored hair. 

Whatever you choose, I'm sure she'll be lovely, so please share pics!

There is something I just love about that gradient hair on Saja's rehair. So pretty! I do think Mimic's original hair colors are super pretty.

I was going to do this too. I also think it would be fun to do an alternate Mimic with a vivid blue parrot and hair to match.
