How long have you been customizing ponies?
Since 2007 so......5 working on 6 years.


What got you started?
I dunno.......PonyIsland I think. I was making so many ponies on there that I wanted to be real ponies so.....I started painting them!

Do you enjoy other types of art?
Yes. I like to write and I like to act. I like drawing too but I'm not too great at it.

Do you have any favorite customs done by you or another artist?
By me? That's easy. Cherry Blossom Breeze. She's my best ever I think. By others? That's harder... I sat here trying to choose but there are sooooo many amazing artists around here I don't think I can really pick just one favorite pony or even several. Everyday I see another pony that blows me away. I tried to make a list, but I couldn't stop and it was getting a bit silly long. Jupi, pop, and CSA are amazing. There's a reason they are our customs mods. And NoD, POD, hanna, Tiella, Em, Kimmers, VJ, and all my friends they amaze me with their newest customs everyday. And there are so many others, all my various swap partners, everyone I've traded with, like I said my list would go on forever!

What inspires you?
Everything. My pets. My friends. The sky. The ocean. Books. Music. Movies. TV. Colors. I love colors. Nature in general. And well.....Life. Life and everything in it inspires me.

What types of customizing disasters have you run into?
Let's see.... I have a nice scar on my thumb where I sliced it open with a scalpel while trying to remove a head. Oh! And no long ago I left a pony in the oven too long, 10 extra minutes. I freaked and went running to the kitchen. Stepped on a cat blanket and went sliding. I crashed into the table, banged my ribs up pretty good, and twisted my ankle. But the pony was ok..... As for pony disasters....There was Bloom. But I fixed him and he forgave me.

Do you have any favorite tips or tricks?
I dunno......Oh yeah! Cut the ends off your curls if you have those little hooks on them. It makes them perfect every time.

Are there any products you just can\'t live without?
Paintbrush. Seriously. I can make do with anything else but I kinda need paintbrushes and paint. I wouldn't want to live without my airbrush & pop's rehair tool though. They make things so much easier. Oh, and I LOVE my new 20/0 liner!

What advice do you have for someone just starting to get into customizing?
Have fun. That's it. Nothing else matters. Your ponies won't always be perfect, but if you have fun and do your best, you'll always keep improving. Don't compare yourself to others. They don't matter. All that matters in the pony in front of you. If you do your best and have fun, you should be proud of your pony. We all start in different places. If you always try your best, soon, you'll impress yourself and others.
