Need help with bandannas!

So looking at my big brothers today I just noticed my 4-speed I got at a flea market has the wrong bandanna! I've found some photos from the old arena but I'm still stumped on if it belongs to Tex, Slugger or Wigwam! Also figuring this out will help in changing my wishlist. I wish I would've noticed it sooner but I get why someone swapped bandannas the blue matches his mane really well!

Here is my 4-speed, the bandanna doesn't look faded at all on the backside looking at the stitching.

Slugger and Wig Wam's have more of a greenish tinge to them.

this one may be a little bit faded or, could just be lighting from the photo. Either way, it's Tex's. Very nice find.

Yours have bigger stitching, does that have to do with first and second releases?

So one vote for faded Tex and one for Wigwam :p I'm leaning towards Wigwam

Oh cool, I've never seen them with white stitching before, they're like the baby brother bandanas. Looking at my picture, the print is larger too. Are they from variants?

It certainly looks like a slightly faded version of Tex's. Its also possible when he was originally sold with the incorrect bandana in his package...so I guess thats where the wrong bandana could have come from.

And yes wow I have never seen white stitching as large as that or the print so large on bandanas before...its not the UK/German release or the Spanish release and the second release of brothers has the same style as the first...I wonder where it is from. They looks quite clumsily finished for G1 accessories. Do you know the origin darknessunisousboy?

Ah, ok, so they're not from german/spainish ponies. I was wondering where they were from as well.... I have an unintentional collection of normal US/Canada bandanas and they all have the same style stitching as the ones I showed (stitching and velcro both match the colour of each bandana). If someone handmade them to replace lost originals they did a great job with the dye and the print.

I really want to find out about this mystery white stitched bandanna. I just got gifted a dark blue one in the advent swap! It also is a different type of material, more canvas esk.

I have scanned the pics of my boys before I sold them - they were all Adventure boy cards not the US release, checked every MOC picture I have and googled in case I am missing some and I honestly cant see these white trimmed ones.

Maybe the edges were redone at somepoint, to stop them fraying?

Maybe more pics will help  I am pretty darn sure it is tex's. Slugger's matches his hat/comb...

The purple for 4-speed seems to be too dark too...

if I had to guess I'd say the white stitched ones are repros. Wasn't there someone that printed out fabric with the bandana pattern to make replica bandanas?

I assumed repo they are well done My swap partner didn't note if it was or not... will have to pm them.
