Left- or right-handed?

For riding my dominant hand was always the left.

A few people have mentioned this already and I'm somewhat confused about what this means... You mean it's the hand that you use to hold the reins - you only use one hand in the western style, right? I've only ever done English style so having a 'dominant hand' sounds strange to me.

i am right handed, but i use my left hand a lot for stuff

mum is left handed so i think i picked it up of her as she has all the house hold stuff set up for a left handed person. my mum doesn't write with her left hand, she was made to use her right hand in school.

Both of my parents are lefties, but both my brother and I are righties.

I'm right-handed but I use my left hand for a lot of things like hold the fork or to play tennis or for texting in my phone (I've tried with the right hand, it's terrible !)

Funny story about myself and my siblings (I'm the eldest of three) Myself and my brother are both lefties, blonde (not so much now) and blue-eyed, my sister is right-handed, dark hair and brown eyes, but my sister (the youngest) was always left out of games when we were kids, since she was right-handed and brown-eyed ... statistically the 'norm' in many parts of the world, but with us she was 'abnormal'

I'm right handed but my dad is a left handed. For years I used his computer which was set up for his left handedness... Then I went to school and all the computers were right moused and I couldn't work them. x.x I'd try to pull the mouse over to the left side but they were always zip tied so people couldn't steal them.

I think it was about 8th grade that I finally accepted my fate and started using my right hand as my mouse hand.

Crud, I forgot about my feet. I can use my feet too and pick things up. People call me a monkey.

I am right-handed for most things, although I had a tendency for the left-hand when I was a child xD But today I can still use the mouse on either hand and with the buttons swapped either way !

Primarily left-handed, but somewhat ambidextrous (depends on what it is I'm doing). Some things I'm entirely right-handed because that's what I learned (like mouse-usage, and cutting with scissors).

I'm mainly left handed. And I always tell people that I'm left handed because I think with the right side of my brain. The RIGHT side... ha ha ha? Get it? >.>
