I drew Surprise as a Sea Pony!! She still loves balloons though.

The next person should draw a pony with a rainbow mane.

Honestly I am on this website because I was trying to find some "lost art" that I found. Earlier in the summer some friends I play DnD with were going to play a My Little Pony campaign and I when it came to making a character I remembered a popcorn themed pony I drew for a thread on here. I remembered really liking the design and so I tried I revisited this forum after not logging in for years to try to find the picture, and Butter Romp was reborn lol.

I really wish I still had the original drawing so I could scan it in and clean it up more, the same with everything else that was in that sketch book, but since then I've lived in 3 different states and 4 different houses/apartments so its long gone.

Thanks much for the breakdown!

As I expected, removing his molded hair leaves a huge dent in his head, huh. I'm interested to see what customizers will do about this. I've heard a few people express an interest in giving him rooted hair.

I think Shining Armors who have been customized usually look pretty cute, so I'd imagine just pierce through the dent if possible.

Did you see all the images?  The "dent" looks huge, I don't think it will really be possible to do that without some kind of modification.  Unless you mean to do it a way other than how I'm imagining!  I'm thinking we would have to fill it in with sculpey or something and then pierce that?
Maybe air dry clay? That way it call be all smooshed into the dent and then it doesnt need to be baked. And alot of it like the crayola version is still relatively soft after drying vs bring hard as a rock like sculpey and could potentially be rooted into. I dont know how it could be secured afterwards though, because its not like a normally rooting where you can just dump glue into the head afterwards...

Since then I've been alittle attached to her design lol. I've used her alittle bit as a my own "ponysona" I guess, so I decided to make a custom of her several years later!!

She was my time trying to use nylon hair to rehair and it was actually pretty fun. I tried to glitter the symbol this time, I probably could have used alittle more glitter. The eyes still aren't perfect. I need to work on the tinier painting. I really liked how the stripes turned out. I need to work on hair styling, but I think she turned out pretty well!

Off Topic / Re: Eggs

I'm not a big egg fan. And I'm strangely picky and will only eat eggs that are prepared by myself, as when I was a kid I saw my grandmother use an egg with a blood spot in it, which freaked me out. I used to eat them more when I had a coworker who had chickens and I'd trade her blackberries for eggs. Now I rarely will buy them from the grocery store; the only time I buy eggs is when I have a recipe that calls for them.  I also dislike breakfast food, which eggs seem to be a pretty big part of.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all your kind words. I bought some finer paint brushes to hopefully make painting the eyes easier, and a couple other art supplies to try out some other interesting things. Customizing is a fun artistic outlet, thats for sure.
