POTD 7/11/2012 Waterfire

I have her and really like her! Mine has had her tail cut so it doesn't touch the ground, but it looks kind of cute like that.

I do hate her name, but I love her colors! And is she the only pony with a flame as her symbol?

Actually, she's not in the diva pose.  It's similar, tho   I hate the diva pose, but her pose doesn't look so...broken neck-ish lol

Oh!  I did not know that!  I'll have to see the two side by side.  Not too thrilled with this pose, either, but it could be worse.   Those braids look freaking COOL!!

I didn't get her name and symbol and thought the concept was kind of stupid, until I read here that it was a Hasbro tribute to a local monument sculpture thingy near their headquarters in Providence, RI.  Now I think it's cool, a bit of pony history!  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waterfire

I have her, she was the G3 that got me back into collecting. It was the uniqueness of the symbol that first grabbed my attention, even if her name is less than original.

I love her colours and even like the pose...but I dont own her...need to add her to the "track down one day list"

I have one.  I think that color would make a nice base for a custom.  But the one I ended up with was damaged in such a way I couldn't use it for my project because  I could not match that color to touch up.  She is looking for a new home if anyone wants to trade me for a different bait.

That is absolutely awesome! This is the first time I've heard of this bit of trivia. Wow, if I didn't already have her I'd definitely need to get her after learning this.

I've always liked Waterfire. Love the bold, unique color combo. And the little flames in her eyes always made her seem really special. I love those little special touches they'd add in randomly sometimes, G3 was good at that I think. The idea of her being Barnacle's little sister is cute too. Only thing I'm not crazy about is her pose, but still there are worse.
