I have a ton of headcanons actually:
For G1:
G1 and G4 are directly related. Majesty is a male, and him and Queen Tiffany (yes, by right SHE should be queen!) have Celestia and Luna as their children
The other princesses guard over the earth, unicorn, and pegasi herds.
G3:
They come BEFORE G1 actually, as they use herds of ponies to raise the sun and moon. The Sun Brigade is lead by Queen Lily Lightly and the Moon Brigade is lead by King Star Catcher, and run by other sun and moon themed ponies.

My local Toys R Us moved their discounts from 10-30% to 20-40% off. I got a nice haul today including the 35th anniversary Care Bear for 40% off, the new Shimmery Celestia and Cadence brushables, as well as some Pokemon and Calico critter toys! Still so sad to see it close...like it's magical to go in there and touch and play with the toys before you buy them! It's just not the same online..

I LOOOOVE that Shenanigans!!! I have the big plush Toola Roola (the old design of her, not the Core 7 one) with the floofy hair. She's one of my fav G3s! I got her at Goodwill and washed her and she came out great!

So my lovely friend got me a HUUUGE lot of G1s at a Goodwill Outlet store and most of them cleaned up quite well normally. But then there's this poor Flutter Lily.. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI took this pic before scrubbing her up, I scrubbed her with soap and a toothbrush and a magic eraser but still some of the dots on her legs won't come off. Is this pindot mold going on? And what's the best remedy for it? The boiling water trick and picking it out with your nails I've seen the most often but I've never done it myself. Any help would be appreciated! Look at her sweet little face
