I love this set! It was the first set I completed when I started collecting. Pina Colada is my childhood pony, so I just had to buy all of them.

So, this thread is a couple of weeks old but it was actually this thread that got me interested in Tootie Tails. She doesn't look like my other ponies, they're all light pastel but she's so 80's with those colours and eye-shadow! (Even though she's from the late 80's.)

My thought / question is, does anyone have a photo of her with her factory curls? Not sure what I should do with mine that I just got. Should I try to make the hair straighter or try to curl it?

I used this image to get mine styled properly because this is how she looks with curls fresh off the card.

Regarding her US name. I think she is named Tootie tails because of Tootie Fruity, but I always spelled it Tutti Frutti (which might have a name copyright on it)...but all the same I think this is the reason for her name.  I agree its a dumb name for sure. She is a fine pony and deserves a better name.

As a kid, I didnt like the set very much, because of the eyeshadow I think... but as an adult Im totally in love with their vibrant colors <3
I dont have a pic of my loose one yet, but here is my (german) MOC ! Im sooo happy to have her, especially as shes on a german card!
