Bulk buying bubble mailers
« on: April 21, 2014, 09:33:03 AM »
So, I'm pretty sick of having to pay $3 for a bubble mailer and then make almost no money off of what I've sold :(
Does anyone bulk buy their packaging? I found some good deals on amazon but I would love your input, if you know of a better place.

I don't technically bulk buy them, but I usually get mine at walmart, or when I'm able, sam's club.  Sam's is cheaper, but at walmart I can get 10 packs for like $8.00.  I'll also usually factor in 50 cents into shipping to help cover the price.

If you're really looking to buy more in bulk than that, try maybe Uline?  A quick glance at their site has 100 #2 mailers (the ones I generally use for ponies) for $23, not sure what shipping is though.

I get my bubblers in bulk off eBay and have for years. It costs me approx. .30 cents per envelope for a 100. So it's a much better way to go.  :) There maybe better deals out there if you look but I have always received excellent service from whom I buy them from and I hate change  :P

I second this. I buy mine at about 200 at a time for less than 20 cents each including shipping. And I go through them very quickly and buy in a variety of sizes. The #1s I use the most.

I get my bubble wrap and bubble mailers in bulk from Amazon although others did mention other good sources like Uline and eBay. If you decide to order from Amazon make sure you read the reviews since the quality can vary quite a bit. Enjoy the savings buying in bulk allows :)

if you have the space and sell often, 100% invest in some mailers!! I pay about 10 cents per piece and i order in large qualities, but I am so low on space from all my ebay selling (growing online business BIG time) and luckily there is a guy at my local flea market that sells ANY size mailer (from tiny to rather large) 7 for $1! I almost always go to him now since I dont have to get 100 and store them

I don't sell as much as I used to, but Walgreens used to regularly have bubble mailers on sale 3/$1. The dollar store usually has the 8x10 size in 2 packs for $1. I add the .50 price of the envelope into the shipping cost.

I get mine at the dollar store too since you get 2 in a pack.
