Don't you find that when you start designing a new custom pony that you wind up with 5 additional ponies you want to make? I planned on making 4-5 customs and now my list has turned into like 40.

Yes, this is a major issue I have! Start out with one idea, and then it turns into something else, then I get more ideas, an then even more. Not enough time in a day!!

Yes!  I have a sketchbook that I keep handy to "toss" ideas in for later.

THIS!  I have a sketchbook of probably 50 ideas.  Who knows if I'll ever get to all of them.

This is exactly my reason for having eight different pony customs started and none of them finish. I start one, get to a certain point, think "omg must make "insert thing here", go off and start that, and the process repeats

That's exactly the case with me at the moment.  I'm working on a set at the moment, but my husband wants something made after that, and then I get an idea for something else, and then someone else wants something, and then I think of something sorta of related to one of the things I'm working on.... it's a vicious circle of ponies.

Yes. It's a curse. I had to cut my list down or I wouldn't sleep at all any longer... just customize my little heart out.

lol I've finally gotten into the swing of things where I actually do have multiple ideas and multiple WIP's. But I kind of like it that way cuz when I'm done FBR'ing one, I can sculpt something onto the next, and while those two dry, I can then turn my attention to another project(maybe but probably not homework)... it's a convenient, time saving cycle that truly does prevent me from escaping haha


but at least doing it this way makes it so every now and then, there's a massive custom finishing, like 3 ponies finished at the same time cuz they were made together

I have this problem, I have 6 awaiting new hair to come to finish them and really want to start others but scared if I do I will have a shelf full of headless horses Ideas always come at once!

Yeaaaah it's a real problem at my house actually......I write down notes and then I lose them, and then come back again and..well.....my house is just littered with pony parts......LOL

My table is just LITTERED with WIPs.  It's kinda sad.  Most of them just need hair, or their eyes.
