I'm considering attempting to sell/trade my G3's away...

I'm dealing with a huge car repair, and really only set out to start collecting as a G4 collector...I feel like I'm cheating people out of some very pretty G3s. I don't know what to think...

  How does owning ponies mean you're cheating people out of them? That's nothing to worry about! But it's a very considerate thing to worry about. Don't worry, I promise you aren't hurting anyone by collecting something you enjoy.
  I'm really only good at practical advice, so my say is that there are a lot of G3s out there for people to chose from. People sell them all the time, and you don't have to worry that you are denying people their ponies. In addition, unless they're very rare, G3s don't really bring in a lot of money, so it would probably take a while for you to sell them, and even then it still might not cover the car repair.
  If selling your ponies is the solution you want to go with, there are some very knowledgeable and kind people here to help you get the best price, as you know.

Most G3's are very common, so you are not hording them from other collectors There are plenty to go around!

Unless you are talking about some exclusives like Beach Belle or the birthstone ponies But even then, you bought them for some reason (they are pretty!) so you must like having them around to some degree

As others have said - pony collecting is a personal thing. If certain ponies dont make you happy or it would help in real life to raise some funds, then you certainly shouldnt worry about selling them on. There is no such thing as cheating other collectors because you have certain ponies in your collection - we all have the same chances to bid or buy on the same ponies most of the time

awww don't feel that way! like others have said, most G3s are quite common. and if you enjoy them, so what? Bummer about your car though :/
Honestly, G3s don't sell too well unless you've got rare ones. If you still enjoy them, it might be worth it to hold onto them.

Sorry to hear about your car troubles, but like everyone said, it is up to out to decide if you want to. You'd be surprised how people might want them. Or you may find you enjoy them very much. Good luck with your car.
