Favorite Fruit?

I love most fruits but my faves have to be Elberta peaches mid-season or Chicago figs off of our tree.    Other strong contenders are homegrown raspberries (not so mushy/watery), cherries, watermelon, strawberries and green grapes. The kids are really fond of bananas and cantaloupe too.

My mom used to make banana pudding all the time when I was younger because it was my dad's favorite dessert. Now I love everything banana.

Mangoes, definitely.  The best thing about the Christmas summer season down here is the stone fruit, so yummy!  I also reckon that cherries are a good substitute for chocolate-- if you're trying to be good, just pig out on cherries .  Oh, and lychees!  I could just live off summer fruit.

For the rest of the year, bananas.  But they have to be yellow with no brown spots, of they get turned into banana bread

Every year I make a pilgrimage from Melbourne to North QLD over the Christmas holidays, and every year I look forward to all the delicious mangoes and lychees I will get to devour

Pineapple (not able to eat it anymore  ) is my favorite. I'm loving cantaloupe now that I know how to pick a good one.

I love fruits and veggies (perfect for snacking and smoothies!) Being from southern Ontario means my love of fruits started early (known for it's wide expanse of wineries and fruit orchards)

It's hard to narrow down my favourite fruits, so here's my top 5:

1. Peaches
2. Blueberries
3. Mulberries (used to have a bush of them behind my apartment in London. Nothing like right off the vine for baked goods <3)
4. Watermelon (especially with a little bit of salt. I blame my Japanese neighbour for getting me into doing that )
5. Lychee

and a special shout-out to wine (hey, it's made of fruit )

Ok im a fruit fanatic.  I usually only have 1 serving. (I know I should have 1 more ) but mainly vegetables I pile on my plate. I LOVE sour fruit too btw.

1. Green Apples

watermelon, hands down. it always was my favourite, and I can eat a ridiculous amount out of it. during summers I could live on them, eating nothing else. I wish it was available all-year-round (nah, the imported "winter-ones" taste nothing like it, and are terrible)
I also love muskmelon, too bad that's also only available in summer. another big favourite is pomegranate (but I hate to open it ), and berries are also something that are hard for me to resist. any kinds of berries. (and I also really enjoy these in liquid form the most. berries, I mean).

during the winter my favourite seasonals are mandarines (not clementines, the smallest, easy to peel types. for some reason this type is only available in the winter here). I'm also nostalgic about this, these (together with peanuts) are what Santa Claus usually leaves in children's shoes by the morning of the 6th of December, so when I eat these they usually remind me of my childhood days around December.

I love fruits. I consume them daily or almost daily. they are a great type of office snack for me. I usually eat at least 3 times while at work. lunch is cooked food, the other gos I usally like to keep smaller (or at least less carbo-hydrate-y), and while I could also go and munch a chocolate bar or cookies, I try to go with fruits instead as much as I can. I usually start Monday morning at the grocery store just round the corner, on my way to the tram that takes me to my workplace, and buy the week's load of fruit snacks, which I then slowly consume in the office throughout the week
