I would like to get everyone's picture! I stupidly sold one when I first started the game  And that villager has since moved out. I guess I will just slowly work my up to getting them from my current villagers. They just ask me to do the most ridiculous stuff for them. "Hey can you catch me a *insert rarest creature EVAR", please?" Why must they make it so difficult to please them

If they name something specific like that, I just agree to it and promptly forget about it. I usually just do it if they are asking for something I have or is easily obtainable, like a river or ocean fish. I will sell them rare bugs or fish, but only if I have already donated it to the museum.

It definitely seems tougher to get villager pics this time around, with no real rhyme or reason. I've gotten a few, but am now in a pic drought. :/ Showering them with perfect fruit and rare bugs/fish doesn't always seem to work, either. Sometimes, they'll give you their pic for the most mundane task. Sigh.

Agreed, a lot harder now to get them.
What frustrates me is that the villagers who have given me their pic, with the exception of one, have been the villagers I usually ignore or don't bother helping. The one I constantly complete all tasks for, spend most of the time talking to, etc. still hasn't given me his pic

This has been my experience, as well. I got Naomi's pic after about 10 days of just straight-up ignoring her. She even yelled at me, then she gave me her pic the day after my lecture.

My first deer will be moving in ~ I found her on another forum~ *__* So happy. It's Deirdre. At first I wasn't really interested in her, but since she's uchi, and one day Muffy will get the boot.... I figured well, ok...
