I got two out of three of my resolutions this year 

1. I have a little back log of customs i want to make for myself! SA Seashell and SA Starshine, also Venuzelan yellow Starshine and i am sure there is more! ~ didn't get chance to do this

2. I need to clean my collection! poor things need a dust and groom! ~ yay i now have a clean herd!
 
3. I would love to learn more about Venuzlean ponies (wouldn't we all) ~ check! we got to learn lots about these ponies

My resolution from last year in list-form~

*more Greeks! Success! I've gotten at least 5 new ones this year!
*I'd also like to get ponies of countries that I don't have yet, mainly South Africa (hoping at least!), Peru and Colombia. I didn't get a SA or Colombian, but I got my 1st Peruvian~
*Spanish TAFs Success! In fact I got 4!
*Spanish boys I don't have (Tex, 4-Speed and Steamer) Not so successful here, got none of the 3.
*Brazilians I'm missing I did get a couple, but I still have a ways to go.
*Spanish Baby Bowtie Success!! She's a little rough, but I love her!
*another Venezuelan Success!! I'm up to 3~

well mine is to really start looking / asking for nirvana's on my list and to save up for them too :  yes and yes I did get quite a few of these this year so super happy.

other than that i resolve to make an innovatory of who i have in my non nirvana herd.  yes took 3 days but I finally did it .
OH YAH ... I need to lean how to use the camera i got this year and take pics of my collection

yep did this too now I have a back log of ponies that need pics .....

Good, still growing my Mexican army =3

I think I'm only (...) missing 4 'official' Auriken ponies and still almost missing all of Lily Ledy...  slowly but surely it's growing.

I'd love to get mexican rainbow Medley and either German Starshine or Skydancer  I also love Italian rainbow Sunbeam... oh the list goes on basically the aim is to add a couple more Rainbows Nirvanas to my collection  Will wait and see what comes up and how the 2012 exchange rates treat me.

I was dreaming about the rainbow Sunbeam (darn she is nice tho!!).  However I did get Mexi Medley, both German Starshine & Skydancer YAY! and a Greek Sunlight amongst others too almost all Rainbows LOL!     Been a great nirvana year!

Ooo... resolutions and reality might not be that close, but:

I would love to expand my Italians herd. I think I have most of the commons now, but some of them also need upgrades - 2 of them were in a bag of baits I bought, so the poor things really need rehairing and some acetone love.

Moondancer pose Moonstone to go with Windy.

It is not a very high flying list, but this is a year of house alterations, so I need to keep my priorities straight (which will of course mean gorgeous ponies and bare walls!)

Oh, and most of all - Tootsie pose Blossom! I love her, but postage always makes her unjustifiably expensive for me.

Well, I now have 33 Italians, including Moonstone!  I haven't learned to rehair though, that will have to be for next year!  I still don't have any Mexican ponies but I did start buying Spanish ponies this year, so (decidedly non mint) piggy Minty will have to do in their stead!

However, we did get windows replaced, fireplaces removed and both downstairs reception rooms decorated and made good, and I got a proper pony cupboard taller than me to display my ponies in for the back room after we decorated.  Hooray!

you guys have done well

i think nirvana collecting is pretty difficult as sometimes you can wait a few years to get that must have pony for your collection, so often resolutions carry over from year to year!

Here was mine:



"The pony gods really smiled on me in 2011. I don't think I'll be able to focus as much time & money on collecting in 2012, so I will keep my list small...

1.) Alt. Birthflowers February/Violet & June/Rose to complete my set.
2.) Any South African pony... still the one & only country missing from my collection.

I'd really like to get more Greek babies, but I think I have all of the lower priced ones now. Lambitisa is also high on the want list, but with my official list above I don't want to add any more super pricey ponies to my resolution list.

One last resolution: In 2011, I finally got a pony room, which is about 90% set up. In 2012, I plan to finish the pony room & take pics to share online."

-I did get my last 2 Alt Birthflowers.
-I did not get a South African pony... maybe next year!
-Greek Babies... I got quite a few! Baby Blossom, Baby Minty (MIB), Baby Firefly (peach body, pink hair), and my OOAK Baby Firefly (purple body, magenta hair)
-Lambitisa... Not this year.
-Pony Room... haha! Well, if it was 90% finished a year ago, I'd say that it's about 91% finished now. In my defense, I have a 7 month old so I don't have a lot of time to work on my pony stuff these days.

Alternate Birthflowers - I had wanted to add at least 2 to 3 to my collection this year and I failed miserably. I am undecided if this means I get to buy 4 to 6 next year [I know I wish ] or if I should just try for at least 2 again.
