Thank you! I'll see if I can put a photo online somewhere and post it here on the boards. They are pretty cute.

In Finland I've seen them sell for approximately 5 euros each and I've sold one of each for 8 euros per patch (in an auction), so that's my current idea of their value.

I'm curious to know about TE Galaxy and Sweet Stuff cloth patches. Were they only available in Finland or other countries as well? Any idea of their value?

In the Wiki the Galaxy patch is pictured under Arts and Crafts / Knitting patterns. You can see a small picture of Sweet Stuff in one of the photos as well (on the yellow shirt).

I should donate a photo of Sweet Stuff to the Wiki since I can't post a photo directly here on the forums it seems, hehe.

For Trade / (No longer available) A single ATC card for trade
« on: October 26, 2021, 10:37:35 AM »
Due to lack of interest, I'm taking this ad down and mods can remove it. :)

Original message:

Hi! Sooo I have an ATC card from last year that I need to get rid of. Anyone want to trade?

I noticed I can't upload photos directly to the forum, so I guess the picture will remain a surprise. :P Pictured are two Playschool Baby Ponies wearing Pony Wear outfits. I'd prefer to trade the card with someone from outside Finland, but other than that I don't mind who you are or what your skill level is.  :) I much prefer hand-drawn to prints though, my card is made with markers and watercolour.

The first who posts that they'd like to trade gets it! I don't mind if your card is from your old works as well. :) Be ready to send to Finland!

Wanted! / Wanted: Sippin' Soda ponies
« on: January 13, 2016, 09:16:42 AM »
I'm looking for both Chocolate Delight and Strawberry Scoops with their sodas. I'm in Finland and can pay with PayPal.

I can also trade, but I don't have that many cool things to trade... I have international Baby Candy in fair condition and Surprise Twins Mommy's pink baby. Neither of those are mint, so I'm looking to buy really. :)

Please PM me if you have the Sippin' Soda girls for sale/trade!

I'm interested in the following, if you ship internationally (Finland/EU):

- Barbie doll's Halloween outfit (how about $3 for just the dress and hat?)
- MSD flower dress ($4)
- Miscellaneous Barbie bits: red dress with white pictures, white dress with orange stripes, red dress with black top ($6)
- Taeyang black jacket with red sleeves ($3) and black vest on the right ($3) + what's the big black thing? I might be interested in the whole set actually if you can give me a price for the whole lot.

Let me know if you still have these items, please PM me since I visit the forums irregularly. ;)

The Dollhouse / Wanted: Disney Store Elsa and Anna (jointed)
« on: October 13, 2015, 10:11:57 PM »
Hi all! :)

I've been a bit absent from the pony circles since I'm more into dolls lately. I'd like to buy Disney Store dolls - especially jointed Elsa and Anna. I'm also interested in Cinderella's stepmother / Cate Blanchett doll and many more. Feel free to offer anything you have.

I'm also willing to trade for ponies. At the moment I have a Baby Candy with a replacement tail and some flaws and Surprise Twins Mommy's pink baby twin, plus some more common ponies too.

I'm located in Finland and I can pay with PayPal. :) Please contact me by PM if you'd like to visit the Disney store for me.

Best wishes,
Xara

I haven't tried customizing myself, but I've seen some pretty nifty cheetas made from bears. :) To my understanding, it's tedious work colouring the flocking so that it would stay at least remotely soft. The flocking makes it all too easy to ruin the critters with customizing attempts. I'm afraid I don't have any tips though.

Here is LadyLollipop's work in progress thread of making the cheetah family - maybe you'll find some inspiration or tips there.

Hi!

I'm looking for flocked animal figurines. I'm especially after Forest Families, but I'm also looking for some of the other flocked toys. That includes Bear Family / Baerenwald, Maple Town, 2-3 Classmates, Peach Fuzz Village, even Sylvanian Families / Calico critters and everything! ;) Feel free to offer what you have and I'll be happy to take a look!

My website can help you know what Forest Families are:

Forest Families Collector - http://www.forestfamilies.net

I'm especially looking for certain figurines, but my trade box is empty so I need doubles too. :) I can trade for ponies or buy. I have PayPal and I live in Finland (EU)!

I will trade an arm and a leg for the purple dinosaurs or grey bears.  :P

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: Bitys bears anybody?
« on: October 23, 2014, 12:48:05 PM »
I've never seen them before! They're very sweet, quite a bit more like My Little Ponies than most other flocked critters. :D I searched online for them and seems that Bitsy Bears are made by Tyco. Were they from the 1990s? Was there also a cartoon? Interesting to see them!

12
Haha, don't worry about it! I of course searched for Goodys Toys, but the toys I got weren't what I wanted to search about. I often use Google image search to find out about things that are in a language that I don't know, but often the results are completely useless!

Anyway, I'm thrilled to know that Forest Families were even available as "happy meal" toys. In South Africa, they were sold with children's underwear or so I've heard... :D How funny. In Finland you could only get them MOC or in family boxes. At least I think so - I'll never say never when it comes to Forest Families. They're such a peculiar series. :P

Many thanks! Both for the permission to use the picture and the information. I'm such a Forest Families nerd that this is endlessly interesting to me. :D Very cool to know! Though I got some pretty unexpected/mature content search results when I googled Goody's... you have been warned. :P

Wow! Really? I'm amazed! I had never heard of that before. I wish I could have gotten a little FF with my fast food meals, hehe. Very interesting to know, it's something I'll definitely add to my website. Are all your animals from the fast food chain? Could I possibly use your photo on my website - credited with your name of course? I'm very excited to hear this new piece of information! :) What is/was the fast food chain called?

What a lovely collection, BomChorom! I love that you have so many rarer species there, and also very cute outfits. Most of them seem to be original FF and I see some rarer clothes there too. :) Do you also have adult Forest Families?

For cleaning, it's a bit risky, but not too risky. I would first use sticky tape to remove all removable dirt, dust, threads and hairs. (This takes sooo much patience that I don't have!) :D I don't know about a tooth brush... Personally I have avoided using it. Instead, I have been very brave and washed two very dirty FFs with slightly warm water and stain removing soap. The flocking isn't easily damaged even if you put the critter in water, but to prevent water going inside, I would be a bit careful with their swimming trips. When I washed the two rabbits, I gently dipped them in the water, rubbed the soap on them and then rinsed under running water. Then I left them on a light-coloured towel for a couple of days to dry properly. I know someone who washes all her second hand critters, but personally I would only wash the ones that actually have some goo or dirt stains on them. When the flocking is wet, be very gentle with them, because the flocking might rub off easier when wet.
