Pony Corral / Quite possibly the world's greatest Secret Santa gift
« on: January 12, 2019, 07:39:41 PM »
This was the most amazing Secret Santa gift that I've ever seen!!  :dropjaw: She's soft, she's HUGE, has a fabulous blue scarf, and her name is Giga-Fizzy.   :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:  I'll let the artist post and claim her work, but I don't want to say, just in case she wants to remain anonymous.

Pony Corral / Any pony people in London or The Hague?
« on: May 30, 2018, 03:28:49 PM »
(Hope this is in the right place.  :-S  Please move if not.)

I'll be visiting London for a week in late June, and then we travel to The Hague, Netherlands for a few days.  Any pony people who want to meet up?  I'll also have a little suitcase space if someone wants specific U.S. ponies and wants to trade for European exclusives.  I am also a Pusheen fan and can snag a few U.S. Pusheen things.  Just comment below or PM me.  :)

Trader & Shipping Support / Beware ebay seller: funko_pops_dorbz
« on: July 26, 2017, 03:46:47 PM »
Beware ebay seller: funko_pops_dorbz, paypal: ToyUsa2011

I bought 4 of his BIN My Little Pony Loyal Subject ponies including the chase figure "Snuzzle," and the listings stated: shipping $3.50, each additional item is free.

I tried to request an invoice, but ebay stated "seller requires immediate payment" so I paid for all four along with $14.00 in shipping and then sent this note with the payment: "Hi :) Your listing says each additional item ships free, and I just bought four of these Loyal Subject My Little Ponies. May I please get a refund on the shipping? :) I tried to request an invoice, but ebay said it needed to be paid right away."

Seller: New message from: funko_pops_dorbz
Just saw your note on the purchase
Our ad doesn't state shipping is free after 1. Priority Shipping to your address for 4 of these is gonna cost $12+. If you still want them let me know if not I'll Cancel the order.
Please message in advance of purchasing if there is ever a question on combined shipping.

Me: Hi, I'm a little confused, I've attached a picture of your listing, which shows that shipping for one is $3.50, and each additional item is free. I do still want the items.
I also did attempt to message before ordering, but as I stated in both messages, ebay would not let me send an invoice or message, I had to pay right away. :)

seller: I see this being an issue going forward
I have cancelled the entire order and money has been refunded to your account
Please Contact sellers beforehand about combining shipping in the future
Thanks

me:  Why did you just randomly cancel my purchase? I stated very clearly that I still wanted the items. I will be reporting this to ebay!

seller:  No, You have been demanding that I ship all items for $3.50, so therefore order has been cancelled.
You need to contact sellers with your demands before purchasing items and demanding shipping refunds,.

me:  I never demanded anything. YOU however are being rude and unprofessional. I will be leaving negative feedback and I have reported you to ebay.

seller: Learn to use eBay properly
By asking Any questions first before bidding

What?!  I've never dealt with someone who has had such a short fuse!  I didn't demand anything, and these were not bids, they were BIN.  I checked his seller feedback and he apparently has a history of cancelling payments and then re-selling the same item for a higher price.  I then went and checked listings, and lo and behold, the same items were up and for a higher amount.   Avoid a possible headache and steer clear of this person.

Screenshot of one of his auctions that I bought.  Hope this image thing works, I'm not the best at posting pictures.  ^.^

Hi guys, I'm totally kicking myself right now.  I'm rather new to buying MOC ponies, and so I'm not sure about what they are worth.  Originally, I thought it was around $100/MOC pony.    :(    I just bought a lot of MOC ponies on ebay for several hundred and now, I'm not sure if they're worth what I paid.  *head desk*  It's the first time I've paid over a hundred dollars for ponies, and I was hoping to use these to trade for MOC So-softs, which are my grail ponies.

I could really, really use some help with these.  :what:   Any guesses would be welcome.  :)  Cards are in good shape.

MOC water color baby sea ponies:
Seawinkle, Misty, Foamy, Sealight, Seashore & Wavedancer.

MOC Raspberry Jam
MOC Strawberry Surprise
MOC TE Masquerade

MIP mail order Snuzzle, Minty, & Butterscotch

The lot also came with:

Blueberry Baskets ~ Mint, recently freed from card w/original accessories & original card & plastic included.
Boysenberry Pie ~ No scratches, few discolored/spots. no accessories.

Tic Tac Toe ~ Mint, recently freed from card w/original accessories.
Whizzer ~ Recently freed from card, good condition other than a few marks on right side (opposite of what is currently displayed). Original Card & plastic is included.

Two (2) Adult Sea Ponies ~ Wavedancer(Mint, Gorgeous) and Sealight(Loose Magnet, Stained)

2 Original Clam Shells (Fuschia & Green) for the above Adult Sea Ponies.

Pony Brag Arena / Styling Strands Rarity and others...
« on: October 02, 2015, 03:12:21 PM »
I was in Vienna, Austria last week, and found some pretty nifty ponies at a store called Muller.      I was so excited, because these haven't seem to hit the states yet.

- water globe Twilight Sparkle
- water globe Cadance
- Styling Strands Rarity

I also found a Pop Pony castle that I couldn't buy because it just wasn't going to fit in my suitcase.

I recently won two pony auctions from the same person on ebay.  I paid for the first right away (shipping included), not being sure that I'd win the other auction which ended well after I went to sleep.  Both auctions stated $3.04 each in shipping charges.

Well, I won the second auction, and right away the next morning I received this message from the seller:

"Hiya! I'll send you a combined shipping wrote tomorrow and subtract the shipping amount that you already paid. :-)  "

I was like awesome, what a great seller, now I can still get combined shipping and it will be less!  Yay!

I was so totally wrong.  Later that day I received an invoice for the second auction, with a shipping charge of $4.83, which is $1.83 more than the $3.04 that was originally stated in the auction.  No, an additional $2 is not much, but it's still more than what was originally stated in the auction!  How can a seller get away with charging MORE in shipping than what the original auction states?

She does state in her auction "The eBay shipping calculator is often wrong, so please wait to pay until I have sent you an invoice."  And yes, I read that, and never once did I think that it would be more than the stated amount.  Why would a seller state a lesser shipping amount in the auction, and then raise it?  Wouldn't it be a better practice if you're unsure of how to use the ebay calculator, to state a higher shipping amount, and then charge less?  It's like a bait and switch tactic.

I feel a little like I've been "had."  Has anyone else had a situation like this?  What should I do?
 :( >_< -_-

I have seriously tried to order this three times already from Target ($29.99), and each time Target cancels my order and says it's out of stock.  Hopefully fourth time is the charm.  If you're still looking, you should run and order it while you can.   :newpony:

Introductions / I found my home.
« on: July 25, 2014, 10:38:44 AM »
Greetings and salutations,

I learned about this site at my very first MLP convention, which was in Nashville earlier this month.  I've been a pony fan for three decades and can't believe I didn't know this site existed.  What an awesome place you have here!  :-D

A little about me:  I've been collecting ponies since I was four, and by my teens I had well over 200.  Then I sold nearly all of them at a garage sale for $30 (which was a lot to me at the time).  D'oh!  All G1's of course.  I've spent the last fifteen years re-buying as many as I can, mostly via ebay.  I was ecstatic when the G3's were released, because they were so very similar to the G1's.  My favorite type of pony is the So-soft flocked pony, and I dearly, dearly wish Hasbro would make more.

My husband convinced me to attend the Pony Fair this year, and I had the most marvelous time.  Summer and the rest of the staff did an absolutely amazing job, and it was one of the funnest vacations I've ever had.  Kudos to Summer and the gang!   :iconclap:

And now, just because I happened to discover these a minute ago, here is a parade of happy ponies...   :joy:
:enthralled: :accomplished: :frolic: :silly: :devious:   :lovey: :what: :good: :hope: :whoa: :newpony:
