Wow! The soft hair, with the soft body... Perfect!!! This is just such a fantastic and gorgeous pony. The idea is amazing too! Even with flash, her hair still looks soft and lovely. Just, perfection. This is a fantastic idea, I never would have thought to rehair with a wool. This is just perfection and I'm so flabbergasted by this I'm in awe

A big part of it is memories from when I was a kid playing with them! I think another big thing is how cute and feminine they are! I went through this phase during my public school career where I thought being feminine was weak and tried to avoid feminine things, and on top of it I had some family crisises, so I really lost a childhood. That feeling of whimsy, mixed with my true love of cute things, really just makes me want to collect them! When I look at them they make me really happy. They remind me of good times, of less stress and of lots of fun. They are girly and fun and cute, and I love to hug them and they make me feel really happy inside!!!
I guess for me it's complicated? But in short, ponies make me happy because they remind me of a fun, stress-free childhood that I never allowed myself to have. They're just so happy. I think also, seeing the love and care in these ponies makes me feel happy. And that they are older than me, and still here, still loved! It's comforting during hard times.

I know she may not be the rarest or prettiest pony, but I've had my eye on Seashell for a long time! The G1 sitting pose is just SO cute. And she was pretty cheap too! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginShe was really dirty, but I just cleaned her up and she looks fantastic! No wear on her symbols or eyes, she's got some little tiny marks on her mouth but it's not that noticeable. The only thing was that her hair had been braided for a very long time apparently! So now she has gorgeous beachy waves in her tail!!! Some might see that as not so pretty, but I think it's super cute. I was just so pumped to finally have a sitting pony! I love winning auctions!!!! I feel like I get a really sweet deal sometimes. And I don't know what's up with the pictures, but she looks way prettier and brighter in person. I think it could be that it's nighttime so all I have is artificial lighting, haha!

Aww, thanks!!! I just used a tablet and an old copy of paint tool Sai, and lots of messing around with Sai's watercolor paintbrush. And thank you too FizzyMelody, soft hair is TOTALLY what I was going for! I love the poofy softness of a lot of pony's hair. I know most of them are supposed to be straight and smooth but I just love me some cotton candy soft fluffy pony hair, hehe ♥

Today I decided to doodle up my pony, Candy Comet, for my signature! She came out okay but... her right hoof is sort of floating... Oops! Too lazy to fix it now! But I kinda figured, since the signatures have to be all small, maybe I should show her off in the art area! And so, tadah!!! visitors can't see pics , please register or login
