Title: A Very 90s Dolphin Girl Pony...Meet Spyhopper!
Post by: ChocolateStarfire on February 03, 2024, 10:38:57 PM: For kids of the 90s like me, who lived near/in a beach city/town, dolphins were everywhere! Were you a dolphin girl like me? ^.^

This custom pony has everything I loved in ponies at the time:
1-It's my favorite color-purple!
2-It has neon eye makeup and symbols (hearkening back to the 90s Sunshine Ponies and Tropical Ponies)
3-It's got dolphins on it that glow in the dark!
4-It has twinkle eyes and a hair gradient like Masquerade

That is so cool! <3 There are wild common and bottlenose dolphins off the coast where I am now; however we tend to see more sea lions than dolphins. And recently orca have arrived too! Which is very unusual for where I am, afaik.

That's so cool! :) I've seen them in the wild whale watching, and once on the beach. I'm not a strong swimmer so I love seeing the dolphins but I know I couldn't swim with them in that way. I got close to a few at Sea World over the years but it always made me a little sad. Free dolphins are beautiful. <3

That sounds amazing! Swimming in general is terrifying for me rofl, if only I could be surrounded by dolphins! XD

You nailed the colors and everything just perfectly! The glow in the dark symbol is the perfect touch that just makes her that much more 90s! :lol:

Thank you so much! <3 Those are the original Twinkle Eyes--she used to be Gingerbread! :) A very burnt Gingerbread lol (her coat turned orange rather than white, no amount of sunfading would save her)

I use flatback gems for eyes when I want to make a Twinkle Eye custom...I did that with my Christmas pony Snowdrift :) (see my Customs website for pics)

A really beautiful pony with great eye make-up, beautifully matching colors on the body and hair and a really wonderful symbol! I like that the dolphins glow in the dark! Looking at this pony really brings back memories of the 90s and playing with Tropical Ponies! :heart:

:fish: Dolphin ponies are wonderful to see, so of course make more! :fish:

If I may make a wish..It would be really wonderful if you could create a pony related to Ecco the dolphin. :biggrin: ;)
As a kid, I used to play it a lot on the Sega MegaDrive! Although it was a bit of a difficult game.
