Starling Doll?!?

Ok.  Yesterday I acquired a Starling doll from a certain member here that had a messy room, lol (if she reads this, she will know muhaha). 

I thought it was the ugliest doll I've ever seen.  Creepy.  Scary.  You name it, I feel this doll embodies it.  She's so darn ugly that I'm beyond intrigued about her and the line.  I tried doing SO many searches on line, but all I could really find was some vague trademark information (http://www.trademarkia.com/starlings-73729200.html).  I couldn't find any for sale.  I couldn't find any websites on them. 

Anyone have any information they could give me on these ugly little things?

Muhahahahaha.  This thing has been my focus since Monday.  I figured this might be a good place for hopefully SOMEONE to know SOMETHING about it.  Andrew's beyond intrigued, too.  He's put it up on his facebook to see if any of his people know it.  So far there's just been a bunch of "that's creepy." LoL

  If you look at the artwork on the packaging the stars have no bodies and are, in fact, quite cute. Nice observation.

  I like odd dolls; this one would be the Star of my collection!
