Should I downsize my collection?

I agree with storing them somewhere to see if you miss them. Then, if you decide to sell, post them either on eBay or here.

I'm a declutterer by nature and I also love to sell things, so for both reasons I say sell!  It's really a breath of fresh air to whittle a collection down to the items you truly love.  For the sake of practicality (and to just ease into it), by all means start out selling just a few sets, etc., as recommended above.

If it were me, I wouldn't sell.  But I am a packrat and like my collections.    Otherwise I can't offer much more advice than the excellent advice already stated.  Definitely don't sell anythign expensive, rare, hard to get, or the like until you're absolutely sure.  Start with the G3s I'd say.  abd like someone else said...don't sell any of your childhood ones.  Those can't be replaced.  But that's just me.

I think too to not sell the rare and nirvana ones for now! I also thought to start from G2 and G3 and then pass to G1 but first I think I will do as many as suggested, I will store them somewhere to see if I miss them  I don't want to find myself later crying for their loss! I'm silly but when you said I can just get them back again, yeah sure but they will not be the same pony!
I think I may not sell them in the end but just find a storing solution to not have them around but still in a safe place if I want them back
