When my mare got injured and I wouldnt be able to ride her anymore, I thought "To heck with it! Ill make a new one"! LOL :) (Mare is all healed up now, but the injury was so bad it might open up if I ride her)

Meet Epona! She was born May 9th this year :-) I was there when she was born, my mare just wouldnt give birth so I spent 2 weeks in the stable, walking up and down to her stall to see how she was doing LOL.

Pony Corral / Re: Why is G1/G2/G3/G4 your favorite gen?
« on: July 30, 2012, 01:12:17 AM »
I chose G1 because, as others said, it was the generation I grew up with. That being said, I do love G3s too, because the ponies feel similar to the G1s. The g4 generation toys are cute, but im not extremely fond of them. They are cute, but the show does it for me mostly. Its hilarious, adorable and very watchable, even if Im 25 :3

I'm glad you've figured it out!  If she is starting to milk up, she is very close.

One thing to think of though; is she on fescue grass right now?  If she is, she needs to be taken off of it immediately and put on a hay of any other kind.  And then ask your vet about fescue toxicity medicine.  If she isn't on fescue, ignore this.  :)

I hope her and the baby will be fine.

Some mares start to drip "milk" a few weeks before, so hopefully the foal will stay in there a while longer. If she is only 9-10 months pregnant, the foal could be extremely premature if born now.

babylicketysplit: I hope everything goes well with the mom and the baby! <3 Good luck!
