Prolly a bit off topic but I received a message yesterday with a pony offer... that happened a while back (beginning of the year).
It's a bit annoying cuz if I want to buy ponies I ask the seller and I don't want anyone offering me ponies I don't even need...
Anyway I've blocked her now so I think I won't receive such PM's anymore.

Sorry you got a message from her offering you random ponies BerryMouse! I'm glad you found this thread as I don't want anyone else to go through such trading troubles. Luckily it wasn't ponies you needed anyway. I am still just baffled about the way she handled the whole transaction she had with me. If she didn't learn anything from the thread last year I still highly doubt she learned anything from this one.

I recently had a purchase where nothing at all besides "electronic info received" was showing all week on a package that the seller said went out first thing  Monday. It ended up showing up the following Tuesday with a different tracking number but the date that the seller mailed it. The seller said that she had printed out her first batch of labels the night before on a printer that was running low on ink and the labels printed out very poorly so she voided them and printed them again with a new ink cartridge the next day.

I'm so grateful that Emery did point out a mistake I made because it has helped me learn, grow and improve so much. I have learned so much in 1 year about selling, shipping, buying and trading. My last trade with icecreamgirl after Emery went great, we were both happy and we both got our packages on time, she got mine and I got hers. I have shipped both to USA and international on time too with happy buyers. Thanks Emery. : )

Interesting but she said the same thing in the big long thread a year ago and had obviously not learned from that. Must be hit and miss... you definitely don't want to get a miss on this one!

Yep, if they are new and wanting to build up trading trust they should have no problem with you asking about feedback or being willing to send first. If they seem offended or won't offer any feedback I would shy away from trading. Or maybe they just don't even have any at all and you can help them with their first trade!

And as far as you having tracking overseas when sending to her... you do, even with First Class international. Your customs number can be entered for tracking. And if you have your own scale you can also print your First Class International label on the usps.com website and save a little bit of money too by printing it online. Plus you can have it picked up at your door so you don't even need to go to the post office ;)

As long as it's making progress on the tracking I would not worry yet. Even within the US some people have had their packages go all the way across the country and back when they were only mailing a few states away in the opposite direction. Plus I think more countries are scanning now so that more locations show up on the tracking as your package moves around the globe.

I would just keep an eye on the tracking to ensure that it's still moving. How long ago did the seller ship?

Yep, in Paypal you can just go to the "shipnow" screen. Here is a shorter version:

Or you can click on "MultiOrder shipping" on your Paypal screen (bottom left side under Selling Tools) and that will let you create labels as well for US shipping. Via the shipnow link you can also print International Priority labels.

On the USPS website you can also create labels and pay via Paypal but you can not ship First Class in the USA. You can however ship First Class overseas via USPS :) I know they are making changes to the USPS website this week though so maybe they will be adding domestic First Class?

I would recommend checking with your local grocery store to see when they stock the health and beauty section and if you are allowed to take their empty boxes. That's the best department for smaller light-weight boxes (but make sure you get the ones that are sturdy enough to ship) so that you can still send first class but have the MIB ponies be protected. I usually just go to the grocery store mid-morning and they will have a cart with the flattened empty boxes and I just check with whoever is stocking and take what I need. I just got some yesterday!

Walmart is also an option but most of them stock overnight so you basically have to stalk them after midnight to get boxes.

Looking for someone in or close to Temecula, CA that is comfortable shipping GLASS securely and safely. I am looking for someone to buy me some glasses at a brewery and ship them to me. I already called them but they do not offer any online sales or shipping at this time so I have no way to get them.

I will cover all costs in advance, plus extra for your time (or I can send you ponies!). Please PM me if it's something that you would be comfortable doing.

Thanks for letting us know how your trade went. I'm sorry it turned out to be difficult  but I'm glad that you got your LPS in the end :hug:   I was hoping that she might have learned since the old thread though too.
Have you left some honest feedback yet? 

Feedback will be forthcoming. I wanted to put a little time between the trade and posting it if you know what I mean. Do you think this warrants a negative? I feel it does. Even though I did get my items in the end I don't want anyone else to have to go through this type of mess with her.

Yeah, it definitely wasn't. I thought it would be an easy trade and nothing seemed off until AFTER I had sent my half of course....

Just a warning that if you like simple and easy trades you may not want to deal with mylittleponysparkle.
What should have been a super easy trade of my pony for a few of her LPS figures turned into just over a month of messages, questions being ignored and waiting.

The trade started out normal enough and she had decent feedback and replied to my messages quickly so I didn't think anything was off until I actually mailed my pony. I had initially contacted her on Oct 12th and after sending pics back and forth and deciding the trade she had said she could mail on Monday, Oct 27th so I agreed to ship the same day. So when Monday came around I put the pony in the mail and PM'd her the tracking and said "thanks again for the trade" expecting to get a tracking number back or at least an "I mailed yours also" type of response.
Instead I got "Thanks to you too! : )" on Oct 28th? Nothing about mailing my package.
My tracking showed delivery to her on Oct 29th.
On the 30th I got "Thanks so much! Expect your littlest pet shop pets soon."
I assumed the "thanks so much" meant she got the pony?
Then on Nov 3rd I get "Expect your package soon : )"
I didn't get anything in the mail so on Nov 6th I began asking about a tracking number or when the package to me had been mailed. This question was avoided by her saying that she hadn't gotten "Bonnie Bonnets" yet... which was not even the pony I sent her. Nothing about when her half of the trade might have been mailed. I replied that I had sent her Glittering Gem which showed as being delivered, copied the tracking and again asked about my half of the trade. Again she replies that she hadn't received anything from me and did not say anything about my package from her being mailed.
Then she apparently sends me $10 via Paypal "to cover half the pony and shipping" and says something about not getting the package if it was sent to NY? (her address was in MA).
This goes on and on for a number of messages with her each time not answering anything I ask until I actually call her post office and leave a message with the postmaster inquiring about the package and providing the tracking number. The next day I get a PM from her saying she received it. She also listed the pony up on her Etsy account immediately as "Sparkle Gem". Not sure if it was actually an issue that the PO had not put the package in her PO Box or if me calling her PO made her realize that the pony better magically appear in her possession.

In the meantime I finally get this response about her not mailing my package:
"Also I have had an injury and for the past 2 weeks have not been strong. I was thinking oh I'll let her know her package is on its way soon thinking once I got yours I would send it out. Since I didn't I was confused too. So sorry. I will send it out priority Monday. I tried to today as well."

Monday comes and goes without tracking so I request it on Tuesday and she just copies the number. I get the package 5 days later which does include the 3 pets I traded for plus other pets and the accessories that were in the picture. Not sure if this was her trying to "make things right" or if she just couldn't remember which ones I wanted so she dumped the whole lot in the mail.

So this was from Oct 12 to Nov 15 drawn out with not shipping and ignoring the same questions over and over and such bother. Should have been such an easy, easy swap.

(And of course kicking myself for not running a search before contacting her in the first place). She obviously did the same thing to a number of other people and has not learned anything about trading in the past year despite claiming that she had back then.

Selling on the Arena is definitely a great way to do free sales (besides the Paypal fees from accepting payments) but sometimes it does take longer to sell so if you have a lot you want to sell more quickly then eBay will be the bigger audience for buyers. I am not sure about what is offered on NON-USA eBay sites but for the USA we do get free listings every month. In the toy sections they are only for AUCTION listings though so if you want to put a Buy-It-Now or fixed price then it does cost.

I would recommend going to your My Ebay and then clicking on selling and then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and it should say how many free listings you have or what other promotions they have going on. This is just what I see on eBay.com though so it might be different for yours?

You can also just click the link in Paypal to "launch multi-order shipping" and it will let you print a label as well without having a payment from someone. This only works for US shipments though.

If you need to print a First Class international label you can do this through the USPS website now :)
