Oh wow...this takes me back.

When I was little I was NUTS for the Lion King! I had a Lion King tent that I filled with all of my merchandise, and I think I still have a lot of it tucked away somewhere.

My favourite item was a pair of plushies of Simba and Nala. They had magnets in their noses so that they "kissed". Really cute!

I posted over at MLPTP, but I thought I'd ask here, too.

I'm wanting to customise some playsets and accessories for my ponies, but I'm having trouble finding information and inspiration.

Has anyone made their own playsets/accessories or customised existing ones before? Do you have any pictures you'd be willing to share?

I'm thinking that 1:6 would probably be the best scale for accessories, but can anyone confirm this?

Sugar.Lightning: Thanks for the compliment! you should definitely bring a pony with you on your next trip...it's so much fun! You get some really interesting looks from some people when they see you wip out the pony for photos, but mostly they just smile. If you do take your pony on holidays, please share the photos with us! I love seeing ponies out and about. I recently saw someone over on the MLPTP share some photos of when they took some ponies with them to Antarctica. Amazing!

My name is Pernickety and I'm a pony/fan collector from Melbourne, Australia.

I'm 26 years old and have been collecting ponies for as long as I can remember...although I must be a very slow collector because my herd currently totals only about 50 ponies. It's slowly growing, though.

I collect mainly G1 ponies and almost all of my new acquisitions are online. I always keep an eye out at thrift stores and markets, but to this day I've never been able to find a purchase a G1 pony in real life :-(

Just recently I started a blog as a way of exploring my love of My Little Ponies and sharing it with others. It's essentially a My Little Pony themed fashion and lifestyle blog. You can check it out at www.alltheprettyponies.wordpress.com
