Purpleglasses - Does the packaging on these have a code where you can tell which is inside or is it completely random? They still have some in stores locally here.

Pony Corral / Re: Ita bag that looks like Dream Castle!

This particular one I've seen on Kickstarter and isn't cheap.
*edit I keep trying to put the link for it but it changes to the link for this post each time I save

Yeah, kickstarter links are not allowed but I thought it was too cute not to at least share the pic since it looks so much like the Dream Castle!  :inlove:

Unfortunately there is no option for sea mail shipping from the USA (at least not through USPS). We used to have the option for it (called surface) years ago but they took that away and now we only have first class for up to 4 lbs and then Priority after that with of course the size restriction which is usually 108 inches if you measure length plus girth.

If you are selling anything with a Buy-It-Now or fixed price be sure to set it for "immediate payment required" so that they can not make the purchase without paying. Harder with auctions though since it's bidding and then you have to wait for payment. I normally sell most of my items at a set price with immediate payment so that I don't have to worry about non-paying for those but with rarer items auctions are much better and then you will have the chance of non-payers. Do take advantage of the second chance offer as you should be able to offer to the second highest bidder and maybe they will pay without you having to relist! Sorry you are dealing with flakes already when you are just starting out :(

I have some G3 baits here:

And then I have Shine Bright Twilight Sparkle for $6 (no saddle though):

I'm pretty sure I have Celestia's crown as well (light yellow with pink jewel in the center).

Please PM if you are interested in anything!

Yep, as bluerose9978 says that is going to be the cheapest option from US to UK. $20.07 and that's if they print the label online. They also need to make sure that the box is no bigger than 36 inches (length+width+height) or it will have to go by Priority and that would be nearly $43.

We used to have a "surface" option which was by boat and took like 6-8 weeks but they removed that option for us a number of years ago so First Class is the cheapest shipping method we have now.

To have paid $3 in fees you would have had to sell something close to $100. I usually just consider it the cost of selling online and getting immediate payment rather than waiting for money orders in the mail or something.

If you want to check fees before listing items up for sale this is a good calculator:
https://salecalc.com/paypal

Then you can see if you want to add a dollar or two to the price of your item to cover yourself :)

If your big lot is not selling I would recommend several smaller lots with updated pictures. I know it's nice to get the money in one lump some but not everyone has $260 to shell out at one time so smaller lots at lower prices may be a better way to do it. With a lot that big if you want it to go all to one person most likely it's going to be someone who resells so you may have to "not care" who buys them if you need the money bad enough. Plus with any big lot for a collector they are usually just buying to get certain ponies and the rest will be sold or traded of the ones they don't need or already have.

I would do some smaller lots in the $50-$100 each range as that is a little more affordable for people. You might try on FB if you have any local swap groups (like Kijiji, but just local buy/sell/trade on FB). I don't know if you have more pictures with your listing but photos are a big thing, people want to SEE what they are buying and you can't really tell which ponies or the condition of all the ones piled in the back. The year 3 sea ponies that you still have might be good to separate out or eBay.

If a pony doesn't stand or a leg is bent slightly or something I definitely mention it because I don't know how someone will be displaying it. Usually on a shelf with many ponies it will be wedged in enough that it doesn't matter but they may be displaying or photographing individually. Not all people are familiar with every pose especially newer collectors or someone who may not have any other ponies in that pose so I would definitely add something like " has a little trouble standing as is common for ponies in this pose" to any future auctions for this pose of pony or any that are in a pose prone to falling over. It's not technically a flaw but something people would generally like to know about I think :)
