I stopped at Gamestop and found out that the Retro 3 Pack is sposed to ship on Sept. 25th Ooh! I actually saw a full peg of Warios at TrU today. I might have gotten him, but I really don't like Wario. Looks good though.

I understand why they're making the Mii Fighters available as a three pack, but my daughter just wants the Gunner, since its the only girl. Mega Yarn Yoshi is adorable! I heard someone in the comment section saying that Dr. Mario will be a Target exclusive. Has anyone else heard this? He's the Mario I wanted.

@Cassie-Congratz on getting your boyfriend Palutena. This may be small consolation but 20-30 bucks for an amiibo online isn't a bad price. Not as good as getting it in stores but still. I paid about that much for my Japanese Palutena and Dark Pit.

$30 isnt too bad for an amiibo, especially if it's a rare or exclusive (IIRC Palutena is an Amazon.com exclusive in the US).  That said, it would be much better to find them in the store, but nowadays it's difficult to do so if the amiibo you want isnt a Mario character. Really, the Mario ones are the ones I ever constantly see in a store, save for the occasional Diddy, Pacman, MegaMan, and Sonic. Dx

@Leave a Whisper: if you wanted, you could always just get the three pack, keep the Gunner, and sell/trade off the other two. it does make sense that they are a three pack since I guess they felt people wouldnt likely buy them individually.

Apparently it was just revealed that the Animal Crossing Amiibos will be out in November, but here is the "amiibo distribution" has far as the U.S. goes. :

Amiibo festival game: Isabelle and Digby (bundled with the game)
3- pack set: K.k. Slider, Reese, Cyrus
Individually: Tom, Mable, and that new character.

So this means I have the buy a game I dont want just to get Isabelle, a three pack only for K.K. and Reese, and get Mabel by herself. Great. Dx

Other than Charizard, yes. Dx which makes me think Mewtwo will be an exclusive or TRU or Target.

I wish the Mega Yarn Yoshi introduced new functionality, like you could play as the giant Yoshi and just wreck up every level The price though, I'm gonna seriously debate getting it...

I've got the Green Yarn Yoshi, Yoshi (Super Mario), Charizard, Splatoon 3-pack (MIB - brother has loose for use), and Ike.

I plan to get the Roy Amiibo too, Ike and Roy are my fav Smash Bro Fighters. Omg can I tell you I screamed when I bought his DLC? It was my birthday, my actual birthday when he got released, like my own personal present from Nintendo!!!

... but other than that I'm really not allowing myself to collect Amiibo or else I'd drive myself crazy (*cough* more crazy), I only rarely use them for their intended purpose anyway.

I feel like I should offer to trade Amiibo for ponies, our Aussie shelves are stocked. Seriously, Fashion Styles for Amiibos anyone?

This was taken in Hamley's in London and that was not all they had 8l. At £14.99 a pop they're not cheap (most places charge £10.)
