Aw, those comics actually were pretty cute. The bird landing on Fizzy Pop's head was adorable! Also I lol'd at "Ahh! My muscles!" Mintys' painting weirded me out. Why was there a visible belly button on that pony? o_O

Those comics are silly, but still cute Fizzy Pop should've been featured more in the movies; she had a cute design.

Please forgive me but doesn't a lot of the G3 art make them look like hippos? Some of the early art was cute but some of these pics kinda make me cringe.

Please forgive me but doesn't a lot of the G3 art make them look like hippos? Some of the early art was cute but some of these pics kinda make me cringe.

I don't see them as especially hippopotamus-like, but the artist for that Minty comic drew the ponies' faces in the shape of sandwich bread, in my view!

Never seen those G3 comics before and it's a little odd to see a G3 pony get mad, though we were close with Pinkie Pie in A Very Minty Christmas.

I dunno, there are some I do believe were made as toys.

A couple G3 ponies never got toys at all. This is of Fiesta Flair and an ice-skating pony who may have a toy; I don't know.

*rolls around laughing* Omgggg LadyMoondancer, thank you for the scans!! I have never seen G3 comics and I LOVE them. I like the nice thick-lined style of the Fizzy Pop comic much more than the Minty style of art, but both of the stories made me laugh. I like Minty finding her own way, and the complete randomness of Fizzy Art's story just made me stare at the screen. She refuses any distraction except chocolate cake, then she's off in a jiffy, eh? lol.
