SANTACHU CAME THROUGH FOR ME ON CHRISTMAS EVE!! I'm so excited and relieved, I was afraid I'd never find one! Welcome home, little Santa buddy!

(I didn't get a free incubator today, like the holiday update said, but maybe it starts tomorrow!)

Congrats! I thought the Santachus were supposed to be common because of the event. They are everywhere over here, at least, since the event went live. That said I managed to evolve a Santa Raichu earlier.

And, oh, the starter event is for New Years, so not going live tomorrow. I guess it was just a stroke of luck on our part.

the app finally updated for me however it updated AFTER I'm nowhere near pokestops

I didn't even try later in the day because I hit level 23 and now my bag is overflowing.

I was able to get my incubator yesterday, but I didn't go out until later anyway.

I also purchased one of the gift boxes. The Great one in the middle. I had some money in my Google Play Store account and figured why not? It's all money I've gotten from taken surveys anyway and I don't play other games that I'd use it on. Got four 3-use incubators out of it too. Since it'll be about 60° today, I may actually go out walking so they'll get used!

Apparently Santa Pikachu likes my grandparents house because I caught 3 while I was there and my husband caught 4.

I missed out on the first incubator because I spun before the event went live  but then I got one today.  Still haven't hatched any babies, but I've caught like 15 Santachu's!

Finally ran into a Santa Chu... But it was too high of a level and escaped.  Happy birthday to me!

Oh geez, is that really a reason I didn't get one on Christmas day?! How annoying!! I went on a walk for that express purpose!!

For some reason the event didn't go live till late Christmas day (not sure what time really since the only stop I could spin was between 10am and 11am) instead of live around 8am PST (guessing on the time, I just know it was supposed to be that morning and while PST is 2hrs behind me.. still..)

I'm having no luck in finding babies in eggs either but I did get my second Snorlax from a 10 km egg and I evolved a SantaShu to a SantaRaichu

Well I live outside of town and ran out of incense, so I've only been driving to a nearby pokestop everyday to get my bonus and catch s Pokémon. I have three of the santachus and need to catch on more to evolve one up. I'm still at level 23. When school started back up I had less time to play, and I'm unable to really hit gyms hard as most everyone around has their players close to level 30, and my Pokémon are not high enough. It takes me ages to knock out a gym.

I know what you mean, I can't do much due to work. I forgot what level I am currently but no where near level 30
