when you want to sell someone else customs what to do?
« on: June 08, 2013, 03:47:32 AM »
I'm having a slight thin down of my custm collection, mostly because my style has changed since I started and their are some I feel would be more loved in a new home if that make sense. I wanted to know what the protacal was for seelnig them off since they were not made by me and most of them I cannot rember who I brought them from because it takes me ages to remember names.

some customizers might want the opportunity to buy their customs back, but most just want them in loving homes
I'd recommend just starting a thread in Custom Sales with pics and list who the creator is and the price you want.

What Roogna said. If you'd like some help identifying the artists, you can always post a thread here with pictures. :)

I have a Word document with a list of all my customs, including the pony's name, the artist's name, how I ended up with it (e.g. swap, gift, purchase, commission) and the year I received it. I don't have a large collection yet so I think I would still be able to identify the ponies without the list, but I'm anticipating it'll get harder and harder in the future... and I'm hopeless with the ponies' names! ;) It's handy to have all that information in one place in case I ever need to sell some of the ponies.
