They've finally come for me!  I'm trying to decide where to put all of these old images. I already use Flickr pretty regularly, but only for photography that I want to be viewed in like a gallery format. I don't really want to clutter up my account with a bunxh of really old pictures or random signature graphics.

I've skimmed through this post so sorry if I missed something - but do we know why this is so inconsistent? I haven't had any issues with not being able to use images hosted on photobucket. Just trying to figure out if there's something I'm doing differently than others? Or is it just a matter of time before they come for me too.

I really like the hot toys one, too. But I'm weirdly picky about which project my money goes to when it comes to Wondy. I could have bought the batman/superman version of the WW barbie for $20 less (same doll, slightly different accessories) but I specifically wanted my money to go towards merchandise from the Wonder Woman movie rather than the batman/superman movie. I've been waiting a long time to show the studios that Wonder Woman as a movie is successful and profitable haha.

With the new movie out there are a few dew dolls out. I like several of them but decided to spend the money to get the black label barbie. She's gorgeous!

I have a few other dolls among my Wonder Woman collection - who else has some?

This little nugget made her way back from angeltoast earlier this week. She did a great job with her expression, I'm very happy <3

I'm in quite a few sales groups on FB and Flickr that are pretty active and I've listed things for sale on there but never actually completed a transaction through there. I have noticed that Instagram is becoming really active in doll activity lately and I have browsed sales on there too. I will say I just generally feel safer on DoA, especially for high dollar items. While it's possible for scammers to show up anywhere people tend to be more vigilant on DoA. Having a built in feedback system is great too - it's easy to see what kind of history sellers have.

Den Of Angels is where I do most of my shopping. 2 of my dolls have come from ebay. Wherever I shop I always check for certificate of authenticity and, if the seller is someone I'm not familiar with or doesn't have a lot of  feedback, I ask for additional photos.

She's lovely! Great color choices. I have a soft spot for ponies with quills since my persona has one as her symbol :)

Soom teenies do come up second hand quite a lot - all but one of my soomlings has come from the secondhand market. This little gal is probably my favorite of my teenie gems. But don't tell the others ;)

The Dollhouse / Re: What kind of doll collector are you?
« on: April 29, 2017, 12:10:00 PM »
I'm a small collection kind of doll collector I suppose. I used to be a "gotta catch em all" collector of Ghoulia, but a few years ago I majorly downgraded my MH collection and sold off all but 5 dolls. Now I'm mainly just focusing on resin BJDs but do occasionally buy other dolls is they catch my interest.

with BJDs I'm mostly interested in fantasy or animal dolls. I have 2 centaurs, a hippogriff, and a variety of anthro dolls. I've only recently ordered my first 2 realistic proportion full human BJDs. We'll see how that goes!
