Great Hair Highlights is 5 years in the works. I bought her from MlpWhitney in 2016. She sat sadly waiting for work to be done. Sunfading started in 2017.

3 hours of crimping action. It is slow and meticulous.

I am super stoked, ordered repo bows from PKW, once they arrive I will braggity brag!

Now I'm left with this uneasy feeling, I want ponies to look their best... I am not looking to re-sell. I don't care about restores if it brings a pony nearly close to factory condition.
Ringlets had a tail trim and or no tail (not at home to open her up - I always put the original tail back in the body with restores), she also has a hair cut, while it's not as drastic as Highlights it is short.
That brings me to the above poll, cast yer vote!
:o)
PS - Both are now ready for their close-ups!

Highlights looks so fun, I would love to see Ringlets done!

You did a marvelous job. Your Ringlets will look just as nice restored.
-
Your restore work looks stunning!!!

As much as I was tempted to vote for Mr. Bill, I say she's your pony, do what you want!
Highlights looks great. 4 years to sunfade her, huh? I guess that's one thing Florida has over Wisconsin (I was born and raised there :) )

She's all yours do do what you feel is best.

4 years to sunfade!? Here I am going backwards and forwards from my garden to check if anything has happened in a day :lmao:
I voted to keep the hair! If its just for you I think it's always nicer to have the original hair, even if it's scruffy.

I appreciate the responses.
Sun is very weak in WI. She has some black marks that just wouldn't give (hair covering it up). I broke down and put her in my car in a tinfoil lined box last summer. More progress was made just getting her to whiten up that way. Then she sat for awhile again...
Looks like there's a lean toward restore for Ringlets. Good thing I have a stock of her hair colors... :o)
