Honestly, I hadn't been planning on getting it. The Marvel one was... meh, in my opinion. And I was unhappy with the "digital exclusive" character thing Disney pulled recently.

And then they announced the Tron figures, and now I'll probably end up getting it! Those two characters aren't my first choice, but it's rare that Tron gets any acknowledgement, so I feel the need to show my support. Plus, I was one of the people who sent an unhappy email after they announced the pair as digital only  :P

Saw Cinderella today, and I absolutely loved it! She's always been my favorite princess, and though I relate to Elsa a lot more, Cinderella still holds a special place in my heart. But I don't think I've cried so much during a movie since I saw Les Mis! And Frozen Fever was great, too!

As for dolls, the theater we went to is in a mall with a Disney Store. Went in looking for the FF dolls, left with them, plus the Elsa tsum tsum, and... LE Cindy! The store had four or five of the blue dress girls left, and once I asked to see one up close I couldn't put her back. I'm on a spending freeze now, but she's so beautiful I can't regret it. The stock pictures did not do her justice!

oh that's good to know. i haven't bought many of the shows before, but own a lot of the movies.
many of which i've been repurchasing when they digital come out.

yeah i guess i'll go with google play. amazon doesn't really work for me. as i'm an employee at Barnes & Noble and well.
i try not to openly support amazon.

i've heard about the tron show, but haven't seen it. worth watching?
as far as rebels go. well the last episode of the season is supposed to air on monday. so excited.
it's funny though. most of the people who make fun of me for watching it are more upset at the idea that there are more star wars being made besides the original 3. personally i think the story is interesting and i love the characters.
Yeah, as I said, I'm not sure how often Disney even releases physical copies of their shows anymore. They're really been pushing digital downloads, even with movies, so I'd say go for Google.

I can't really give an unbiased opinion about Uprising since I'm obsessed with the franchise in general, but I'd say it's worth a watch :P You'd only have one season to get through, at least. The art style itself makes it worth checking out an episode or two, but I thought the story was great, too. You just have to accept that it'll probably never have a resolution lol

And I love when people complain about extending or bringing back old franchises. Fine, be bitter, but don't take away from other people's enjoyment of something.

First of all, I'm sorry you've gotten questioned for watching the show. I haven't watched it, myself, but I was really invested in Tron: Uprising when Disney was still putting that out. Cartoons aren't just for kids! Disney X D especially has had some awesome content, but that's besides the point.

Now, not knowing much about this show, I've gotta ask; have they ever officially confirmed a DVD release? I only ask because it seems a lot of the X D shows only make it to digital download format like Amazon or Google Play. I know from buying Disney movie DVDs that if you want a digital download, it usually comes in a 3-pack with the DVD, BluRay, and the download. And I'm not sure if they even do that for shows.

I'd say buy it on Google Play, if that's the format you know you'll get the most use out of. But it's ultimately up to you!

I have a lot of random Pops from various franchises, and I'm slightly worried by how easy they are to collect  :P You start off saying "oh, just this one!" and then you're running out of space for them. I haven't gotten a full set of any particular line, yet, and I don't really plan on it, but it's fun to get figures for characters that have little to no merch!

Wait, no, I take it back. If they do the Classic Tron line of Pops, I'd definitely buy a full set of those!

Pony Corral / Re: Can I see your display with Billy shelves

I've been looking into different display cabinets, too, and this is definitely making me sway towards the Billy a bit more. I like this case, but I hate the fact that you can't adjust the height of the shelves. Between dolls and ponies I'd need spaces of different heights.

I'm not sure how I feel about the ribbon hair wave. I feel like it'll be about as easy to manage as tinsel, and it obviously won't blend with the hair at all. The big wing ponies are the things I'm most curious to see in person at some point.

Then again, the stores around me haven't been keeping up with new releases whatsoever, so I won't hold my breath  :P

I'm... not impressed, to be honest. I wish they would've done the Frozen Fever dresses, at least on Elsa. Though I'm sure we'll see those at some point! I'd been planning on getting Elsa, and I'm sure this is a bizarre reason, but I really don't want a doll that represents a time when she was so miserable. Plus the dress is just meh, in my opinion.

I really like Anna, though!

Not quite what I was expecting! Wonder what they'll put Elsa in?

For Trade / Non-MLP Mystery Mini Trade
« on: February 07, 2015, 11:08:22 AM »
It's a long shot, I know, but I thought I'd try anyway.

I grabbed a Funko Mystery Mini sci-fi figure hoping to get Tron, and as usual, my luck was non-existent. I got the Mars Attacks Alien, and if anyone collects these figures, I'd really like to trade it for either the glow-in-the-dark or regular Tron figure. I'd prefer the gitd one, but the regular would be fine, too.

If you can help me out, I'd really appreciate it!

Maybe I wasn't looking at the right times, but I swear the stores near me never got Sweetie Drops or Skywishes, either. Unless they sold out that quickly? I check Targets and TRUs every couple of weeks, and it's been nothing but Mane 6 for at least six months now.

Has anyone in the US been able to find Holly Dash yet? I'm not even sure how behind my stores are with the singles waves.
