My bf went today. The first GameStop had no cards and the second would only give him one. We are going to try a different GameStop in the next few days to try and get our second code. If you want these, act as quick as you can. Nintendo is well known for not sending enough stock of special items. Good luck, everyone.

Sounds good, I also take photo/video proof so it makes it easier to trade.

Gah, went to our Gamestop and was told the cards haven't arrived yet!   Will have to check again in a few days!

Ugh I wish the GS stores near me had the LE Mew plush.  I do recall seeing a special yellow Pikachu plush at TRU or Walmart (it was like a light yellow color and had small pikachu prints all over it), and thought it was adorable.

The first GS I went to today only got in 100 of the cards, and this store is actually the busiest store in the district/city IIRC. I went this morning to stop at my two GSs and managed to get five of them (two each for me and my boyfriend, and an extra in case someone else needs it).

I assume they will restock at least a few more times during the promo, but dont wait too long to get Mew.

And a heads up: if you go to a GameStop and they're telling you that you have to buy/preorder something in order to get the card, that's not alllowed and the store can get in trouble for it.  Mew is free and dont let them tell you otherwise.

whoa yea if places are telling you you need to preorder or something... thats crazy! I heard a lot of GS stuff broke some rules a few years back, so a lot of them lost midnight release privileges for pokemon stuff! Luckily my favorite  store is a pretty cool place.

That's interesting how different Gamestop locations handle these events.

I went to my local one this afternoon to grab a code. I was worried if I waited too long they would run out lol. I was at the counter, about to ask if maybe I could have a second one, when the woman behind the counter goes "We never run out of these, so you can have a bunch!" And then she handed me 6!

Stopped at my local GameStop today to get my card.  They were only handing out one per person, but there's another one in the next town over.  It's a really small town (the biggest store there is Walmart) so I'm betting they won't run out of cards too fast.  If I can get there I'll try to get an extra card.  Maybe we should set up a list of who needs one or something because the cards are available until the 24th but you can redeem them until May 31st.
