Celebrating that today Argentina entered in the round of 16 of the Football World Cup Russia 2018 (after a lot of suffering  :lol:) I want to share some pictures I took  :biggrin:

My ponies are ready to play their world cup, the teams are from Ponyville, Butterfly Island, Unicornia and Argentina because they also wanted to represent the country were they actually live  :lol:

And here the little decoration I made for the World Cup in my Rainbow Castle.  ^.^
While some ponies of all the teams play outside, the others watch the practice from the castle´s balconies  :biggrin:

This is seriously adorable!! :lovey: By the way, I don't know what you do to your ponies' hair, if it's just a lot of conditioner and careful brushing or what it is, but I LOVE it. It looks like silk.

Hard choice really, all the teams really have such great members :lol: But I think for my fave team/the one I am rooting for :D would be Argentina! Their color scheme is just sooo lovely.

Esbayne: Thanks! :lovey: Yeah! You chose Argentina team!  ^.^ I'm lucky to have enough white-light blue ponies to create the team  :lol:


:blush: About the hair... I wash it with shampoo and then I put conditioner so I can brush to untangle the hair. Then if the hair was in good condition I just let it dry arround the leg.
But well, almost all my ponies had frizz, so I used the hair straightener. For that first I spray the hair a little with fabric starch (or you can use those anti frizz sprays, but I dont have them  :lol:)
Is very important to use the straightener in a very low temperature, and use it quickly several times in each lock of hair instead of one time pressing a lot of time because you can burn the hair.
And for the curls I use the boiling water method, just prepare the curls with plastic straws, sumerge the hair in the boiling water a couple of times and let it dry before remove the straws. With this the curls last forever even if your city is very wet like mine!  :biggrin:

Argentina really did make a heavy job of qualification! Very unlike them.

Your pony pictures look great ;D

 England may play Japan in the next round o.o.

I imagine my ponies squabbling about who to support, as they all come from different places.

My American ponies would probably be sad because they don't have a team to support this time round.

I have to go with the unicorns in your tournament :)

Taffeta: Thanks! Or maybe England could play vs Colombia? The thing is that if Argentina didnt win I cheer for Mexico or Colombia   :blush:  ;)

Well, I am supporting England and Japan in this tournament (because I study Japan and lived there for a while last year) so don't really want them to play each other ;)
England could also play against Senegal I think. It's really uncertain yet as our group ends today. We have to play Belgium first, who are pretty good.

Argentina v France should also be a good game! Two good teams!

Aaaa I love your picture threads! :lovey:

Now, if the pony world cup was on TV, that's some football I would watch, haha! And I think I'd be rooting for the Butterfly Island team, or Unicornia.
I don't watch football, but I actually caught the last minutes of Sweden's win game yesterday, so I can at least pretend I know something about the world cup x'D

Shaiyeh: Thanks! :heart: To be honest I dont care about football, the only thing I like to watch is the World Cup. I think that what I like is hear the different hymns, see the people of each country, refresh in my memory the flags and those kind of things  :lol:

Honestly, I think England will have the tough match ;)
