Trader & Shipping Support / Re: UK to Europe Postal Delays?

I've ordered something from the UK a few weeks back and got it within 5 days. Mine went via airmail though. It might be stuck at customs somewhere.

Atleast FS Daisy Dreams/Applejack arrived here. :) You can actually order a lot of Monster High dolls on the dutch Toys r Us webstore. Their pony section however hasn't updated for a year..

Not a real fan of the dolls either. And here in the Netherlands, you have much greater quality dolls from Monster High/Ever After etc for about the same price. I'm not sure how popular EQ is with children, but I have the feeling ponies are generally more popular too.

Pony Corral / Re: Glory with white tail?
« on: September 04, 2015, 12:56:37 PM »
Yeah, she is also pretty pricey for Glory with her symbols gone and replaced tail. (12 USD) Her head might be either loose or the neck thickness doesn't match up. (My own Glory has this too). My bet is still on the tail replacement though.

Thank you!

Pony Corral / Glory with white tail?
« on: September 04, 2015, 12:27:58 PM »
I found this Glory with a strange white tail on a Yahoo auction. Does this look like a rehair? The description was in Japanese. Google Translate noted that there's a 'habit/pecularity' in the tail.

It is peculiar indeed.  The fact that the tail is curly unlike her mane makes me think this is a rehair. What do you think? It is an interesting thing to see nontheless. :P

Off Topic / Re: I'm going to be nosey! Gender identity...?
« on: August 31, 2015, 10:20:32 AM »
I don't like that whole "male brains" idea because didn't science prove that male and female brains are the same. Anyways I have known more fellow autistic people who are asexual than transmen.
Yeah, as an autistic person (and also asexual, so I'm chiming in) myself, I really don't like the whole "male" brain thing. It hasn't been proven, and it really just shoves fem and nb autistic people under the bus. It also just reenforces the gender binary which is a social construct not a biological thing. So yeah . o. Thank you for saying something!

Male and female brains are actually different. The Corpus Callosum is thicker in female fetuses. Male brains have more whitematter and female brains have more grey matter. Etc. A study has been made that concluded that female-to-male brains had indeed the same amount of white matter as male brains. While male-to-female brains had white matter that were neither masculine or feminine. (link) I find neuroscience really interesting, I don't know where people get the 'male and female brains are the same' from.

I identify as male but born as female. Therapy suggested I might be autistic too so 'male brain' might make sense. :P (I'm not diagnosed) I don't like talking about it or engaging in communities because I feel like it's more of my own business, but to each their own.

Pony Corral / Spotted Holly Dash (and Rainbow Power) in Netherlands
« on: August 25, 2015, 02:57:05 PM »
I found out Intertoys stocked the missing Rainbow Power releases including Cheerilee, Rarity, Holly Dash and Fluttershy. I managed to buy some of these a year ago when I visited the UK but I am happy they've popped up here for the people who are still looking for them. :)
