Hi all,
Wow it has been ages since I last posted! I am looking for a little bit of advice:
After about 1.5 years home from school, I am moving to Portland Maine! I am psyched to be moving up there at last, as this will mark a big change in my life. However, I want to take my ponies with me and while I have am thrilled to have a new space I am afraid there isn't much of it. My current pony display just will not work in the apartment I am moving to. Does anyone have any tips for storing ponies in tight spaces?
My ponies currently live on a series of 4 bookshelves in my basement. They all have their own space, none are touching, and are open to the air. The basement gets a little bit humid but there is a dehumidifier present which cuts moisture out very well.
Which brings me to my next question, does anyone know what TE Quackers Regrind looks like?
I am ashamed to admit I have been neglecting my ponies lately with all of the things I have been doing at home. But I noticed Quackers front right leg and right under her neck where her pink hair touches are bright pink highlighter marks. I cannot for the life of me remember if they were there before. I am assuming they must have been, as I think her regrind tends to be brown? I know the pink cannot be caused by her hair, only because her hair doesn't reach the spot on her leg that has a pink blotch. I am dying to know if this is regrind, as I have tried everything to keep my ponies protected for the time they have been here..
Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I have posted on here. 
I feel a bit late to the game, but I finally made myself a Tumblr! I am mostly just making cute little doodles of this cat at work named Kitzel. She's pretty special to me, but I won't go into those details right now.
Now that I have set my Tumblr up, I am kind of confused as to where to go next.. Does anyone have any advice for any first time Tumblr users? In addition, I am looking to follow boards and I was wondering if anyone here had a Tumblr they would like to share, I hope to be able to follow quite a few pony themed ones!
Any tips for how to follow others would be much appreciated!
I haven't posted on any form of social media in ages...

Hello there,
I haven't posted on here in ages! And that's partly because I have a new job and I've been insanely busy, and partly because I have run out of space for my pony collection and I took a break from collecting...
Does anyone have any great recommendations for storage for their collections? I really want to buy a curio cabinet type thing, or a bookshelf with doors, but I don't really want anything super fancy and I certainly don't want to have to pay an arm and a leg. I didn't know where to begin looking but now that we are well into winter and my ponies don't need to hide from Massachusetts humidity in the basement anymore I really would like to have them in my room.
Any good suggestions, for both pricing and quality?

I am on a quest to aquire all of the So Softs. I have the harder-to-finds, now I just need to find the more common ones. Does anyone know the value of these ponies in decent condition? Such as minimal flocking and rubs, as well as uncut hair?

Hi all,
So two days ago a lovely member on the arena sent me a so soft Gusty~
Other than some slight flocking loss from her back and symbols in a couple of places, she was in gorgeous condition. However, she did have a decent amount of dirt on her flocking...
I normally try to clean my so softs with soap and water, but because of the dirt I wanted to go extra heavy duty this time. I pulled out the OxyClean.
Oxyclean has been my ally ever since I became a collector, and I always make sure it's thoroughly rinsed from ponies when I'm done cleaning with it. I have yet to have any issues with using it on ponies, though I typically only use it on commons just in case issues arise in the future. For super truly dirty pieces, I would use the Oxy with warm water on everyone but glitter/ so softs for fear of damage.
Well today I brainfarted. I used warm water with Oxy on the Gusty. She lost some flocking and I wanted to scream!! I couldn't believe how dumb I had been to forget to never use warm water on so softs (it melts the glue) and now I have a slightly less fuzzy Gusty than before :/
So, has anyone else had an "whoops" moment as a restorer? Sometimes I feel like I am the only one who isn't a pro on here 
In addition I'm curious to know, maybe it can help prevent doing more silly things in the future when I fix ponies up

Hey there!
So yesterday I stopped in a Barnes and Noble and found the Celestia Guardians of Harmony figure. I instantly fell in love and bought the figure, and I'm very anxious to get my hands on her sister, Nightmare Moon. However, I have called numerous places and had no luck in finding her. Has anyone seen her around? I know some members said they found her at their Walmart and GameStop, but both of the ones near me confirmed that they have no such figure. I am so irritated, I looked on Amazon and naturally Celestia goes for $20, the price I paid for her, while NM goes for $40. Of course there are the jerks on eBay who buy the figure for 20 and try to sell it for 40 or 50. Please tell me that this figure is not a limited edition, like the Funkos! I wanted to rip my hair out when I tried to get the Luna figure and found out that not only was she exclusive but was $150!!
I don't collect G4, but I'm very interested in having Celestia and her sister. Someone please confirm that she's not exclusive and will be found in stores soon! I will be absolutely heartbroken if she doesn't show up around here..

Firstly, if this belongs in Customs feel free to move this thread! I just thought it might be okay here
Secondly, I swear this is my last post in the brags for a while
A few months back a member on the arena was selling a Reverse Gusty Replica. After several unanswered pms I assumed the thing was sold, so I figured why not commission one?? Cue the Customs section..
I contacted Whippycorn after viewing a lot of her gorgeous work, and she agreed to doing the commission for me! She did a fantastic job~ We did tons of research to get her as close to the real thing as possible. This is the final product! I couldn't resist taking a selfie with her when she arrived! She looks so much like the real thing! And her hair is fabulously soft, I am in love!
Once the new hair settles I can't wait to style it like her twin, my normal Gusty~
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH WHIPPYCORN! Seriously, she is amazing at Customs! Check her out! You will not regret it ^^

So recently I was skimming for some art clips of twinkle eyes for doodling purposes, when I came across this picture of G1 Fizzy in the show (spoiling it because it's huge):I couldn't help being like "wow that looks so pretty!" I have no idea if its the colors, or pose, but Fizzy looks so nice there!
It's ironic too, as I know there were many illustration errors in the show
I always appreciate nice art, and I was just wondering if anyone else has had a favorite scene in an MLP show (or elsewhere) where they just really could appreciate the art style and design?

Now I know it's still July, but as I sit in my house on this insanely hot day in Massachusetts, I can't help but yearn for the cooler mornings and days of Fall.
September is my favorite month and the start of crisp and cooler mornings, and I just can't wait!
Is anyone else a fan of Fall? What are some of your favorite things to do during that special time of year?

Hi there,
I need someone with pony hair-styling talent to help me with these ladies...
As you can see in the pictures below I have their hair in ribbons, and their forelocks have been curled (you can see my Dainty's ridiculously re-pinked forelock), but I am not quite satisfied with how it looks. Does anyone have tips/tricks to making Perfume Puff hair stay neat and orderly? The bows help, but I want the ends of the puffs to be neat looking, not just stick out of the bows awkwardly like some sort of puff explosion. I'm curious as to if baby elastics would be useful? They're small enough to keep the hair in and make the hair look poofy without the bulky look of regular elastic hair bands.

Hi all,
I finally got a chance to re-pink my SS Twilight, and the results came out pretty great! However, due to the fact her tail had a smidge of the original Hasbro pink, when I re-dyed her hair the mane came out a slightly different pink hue compared to the tail, but it's barely noticeable (hopefully). Let me know what you guys think!
Also, I think her flocking may have picked up a tiny bit of dye. Would stain remover take that out? Please let me know!

Okay I am absolutely fed up with using straws and bobby pins
No matter how much I try (and succeed) in wrestling slimy condition-y pony hair into rolls, when I finish the final product it is never to my expectations
Has anyone ever tried actual curlers? And if so, what size? I feel like I might have more luck with them since the hair will more of less stay in place, which is my biggest issue with styling hair. In addition, I am looking to make longer curls, and bobby pins are pretty short, resulting in my girls having super tight (and kind of bizarre) curls.
Any advice would be great! Thanks!
