When people say to me things like being childish and inmature about my hobbies, I tell them that a real mature thing is to admit to like something and don't feel intimidate to hear what other people say or critcize about you

I always have to justify it to people. I've even had someone ask me if I like MLP as an adult interest (I think y'all know what I mean). People have gotten aggressive with me and demanded answers from me, like "Why are you like this?!" (most of these people being men who barely know me anyways).

OMG Dazzlekitty! That has to be the worst one in the thread!
Since everyone is talking about dating sites, I actually do have tons of bad experiences from them but I've never met up with a girl off the site. I was close to with this one girl, who seemed cool at first, but she texted me all hours of the day. And not just regular conversations, she would just constantly say "hey" every hour if she was not recieving a reply. When I would get home in the evenings I would have an inbox full of "hey"s from her.
Then we started talking about meeting up and thats when the weird came out. She kept saying that she had a crush on me and that she wanted someone to come over and cuddle with her. I only had 4 pictures of me on OKC and she had only spoken to me for a few days so I didnt see how she had a crush on me. She later asked me if I had a car and knew how to drive. I said yes, and she asked me to pick her up at her high school after school.
which prompted the question, "are you really 18?" she said "no, but don't worry, I'm really mature for my age!"
that's when I stopped talking to her. Unfortuneatly its really hard to date as a gay person and NOT use dating sites, but there are so many weirdos out there.
I'm also always the one who drives for dates, like a few others here have said. I'm always paying too! I kind of would like a girl to pick me up for once but I also like to have a little control if its with a complete stranger. If I don't feel safe I can always leave and tell her to take a cab.

So recently I had a date with a girl I knew from high school. We talked for a few weeks before we went to see a movie together. I picked the movie because she had no idea what she wanted to see. After we have already gotten our tickets and snacks and we sit down inside she tells me she's already seen the movie. Ok. I tell her I wished she would have said something earlier and helped me pick another. When we got out of the movie, I couldn't find my car. We walked through the mall and they closed the other end (where we entered) so I couldn't find where I had parked. So it's past midnight and I'm stressing out because I cannot find my car, going back and forth trying to figure out which parking lot it was in, and where that parking lot was. Its humid and gross and I'm a mess.  She keeps grabbing my arm and telling me it's going to be ok. When I finally stop and say "let's see if someone who works here is still in the mall, maybe they can help us." she says "can I kiss you?" I, of course, say no thank you, this isn't the time and I don't know you that well. She says "oh c'mon!" and then she kisses me. We ended up asking someone and finding my car. I dropped her off and went home. The next day I get a text from her saying she has a secret to tell me. She proceeds to tell me that she can move objects with her mind. I don't know how to respond to that..... The whole thing was very strange. She didn't act this way until I actually went out with her. I haven't had the best of luck with girls lately, most are really too clingy for the first date or we just don't have anything in common, but that was by far one of the most uncomfortable ones. I was curious, what was your weirdest/most uncomfortable date?

wow thats great! I'm always searching craigslist but I keep finding people selling crummy baits, mcdonalds ponies and fakies and calling it "HUGE MLP COLLECTION, RARE!!!!"

You just gotta know what to search, and if you want a really good deal, you need to look for the sellers with no clue. I search the pony's year, color, ect. Like "Purple my little pony 1985"

Surely I can't be the only one who feels that way?
I don't know, it feels really unprofessional and out of all the things she could have endorsed she chose that. I feel like it would be way cooler if she helped bring a little girl's creation to life rather than get more gold stars from the brony fandom.
