Obviously Rapunzel is the rarest of the US Mail orders, but what about those who weren't mail aways?

Who do you think is the rarest US release?

hum maybe yr 3 sea ponies with shell? they are about 150 each are any worth more also are we talking loose or MOC if MOC then I woudl say mimic twinkle eye pony I need to take a picture of mine.

Is she tho? Sweet Scoops is pretty rare. I know Rapunzel is more expensive, but that doesn't automatically mean she is more rare.

As for the most rare of the regular runs, I agree that the second set of Sea Ponies seem pretty elusive.

even the 2nd edition adult sea ponies aren't that rare, the ponies alone pop up often, they just get pricey. Off the top of my head I'll say Lavender Woosie.

Fancy Mermaid Ponies

I don't think many of those are rare so much as sought after and expensive. There would be no way Red Roses is a million times rarer than her set buddies, who are way cheaper. Red roses is just evry popular and wanted, even I want her. Same with Mimic, Munchy, etc, some may be rarer than otehrs, but those that everyone wants go up high.

I would say as crumpet my self. She's not up for grabs as often and also ptetty popular....

yes would agree to 2nd release adult seaponies but with their shell stands as they can go as far as $200

If we are talking US only then I certainly agree with the second set of adult Sea Ponies as probably being the rarest of the store releases.

I was lucky enough to get the Fancy Mermaid Ponies as a kid but we never saw the pink one and she still eludes me to this day.

Also, second wave princess ponies with clips.

I don't think mimic is rare at all just really popular she's often for sale.

I think year 3 sea ponies with shells would have to be around the most rare.  Some of the animal friends like Oakley, second sets princess complete and flutters with wings as I agree so many accessories are rarer than the ponies as so easy to misplace or break!  Mermaid baby ponies are very tricky to come by.  Most sets seem to have one or 2 that are trickier to come by :-)
I also think sweet scoops is harder to find than Punzie had chance to buy Punzie several times over in the last year on ebay but only seen about 2 sweet scoops on ebay in the same time frame while looking to buy.

Was Sweet Scoops a store pony? I thought she was a mail order pony. She's super-rare, but I always thought she and her little buddy were never in stores.

I think it's Hushabye, the white Soft Sleepy Newborn. She's a sneaky giant thing! I see the pink ones once in a while, but that one eludes me.
