Finally got back into the spirit of customizing after working on one for a private swap (you'll have to wait like 3-4 more weeks for pictures of that one though lol) and I decided to make a pretty G4 Unicorn. Her name is Laila, which is Scandinavian for Night; Dark Beauty

Started with a twilight base that was given a fbr using acrylics. I painted her design on and sealed her. Painted her eyes and sealed those. Last but not least she was rehaired using DH Mermaid, Stormy Sky and Moonlight.

Ledbyrd,  I'm stoked that you loved all the goodies in your box! As soon as I saw those MIP Carebear items, I knew they would be perfect for you ;) Glad you loved the ponies and the accessories as well. It was a pleasure to put this box together for you :)

I'm so excited that I don't even know where to start :lol:

I am completely floored by the amount of awesomeness that Cassstorm put into this teeny little box :dropjaw: Seriously, once you see everything, you'll wonder how in the world she managed to fit all of this in a 6x6x6 box :lol:

Here's what I saw I first opened the box... Pretty pink tissue paper and a beautiful card adorned with a blue butterfly ^.^

Then I pulled everything out of the box which led to numerous excited screams and squeals (pretty sure I scared my husband)... I was so overjoyed that I had tears in my eyes... Do you see that vintage Rainbow Brite bedding peeking out at the back? :freak: Those were packed inside the box!

Rainbow Brite bedding close up. It's so beautiful, I've never seen it in person before and I adore it! Cassstorm seriously has no idea how stoked I am about this or how much it means to me that she included this in my swap box :hug:

The very awesome extras... lot's of hair ties, headbands, bobby pins, decorative clips, werthers sweets and my very first G1 pamphlet :biggrin: Love it all!

Now on to the ponies...

First up, are 2 beautiful paradise babies, Baby Palm Tree and Baby Beach Ball :shocked: They are far more beautiful in person than in pictures and I adore them! (So sorry about the photo being upside down, I don't know why photobucket isn't co-operating with me tonight)

There are no words to express how thrilled I am to have received this box. Cassstorm, you are beyond amazing and this is most definitely the best swap box I have ever received! I can't stop staring at these beautiful ponies, and that Rainbow Brite bedding was the most perfect addition to this box! I also love the little extras you included, I'm always going through hair ties and I love hair accessories! Werther's candies are delish and that G1 pamphlet is awesome! I would think the best thing to do in this situation would be to part with something else in your collection that has a value around that amount. I know you said you weren't currently looking to sell anything at that value, but it would be the easiest way to please your buyer as well as yourself (not having to come up with money you don't have currently have).

That's what I would do anyways, I know I certainly couldn't cough up $500 out of the blue, I'm one of those people who almost always needs payment plans for anything over $40 unless I already have the funds available in paypal.

I do agree that once an arrangement has been made and a deposit has been placed, that 9/10 if the buyer backs out, the deposit is forfeited. However, those things are usually stated before money has changed hands. I'm not taking sides or placing blame, just providing my opinion along with a solution.

I hope you guys can get this sorted out so that no one is put out :)

MonstarNomNom, wow! That is a crazy workout to remain dedicated to, so I give you mad props for hanging in there! I'm sure you will see results soon.

MoonbeamStar, congrats on your weightloss as well, 8" being taken in is awesome!

Maddie, congrats on losing 28 lbs so far! That's awesome news :)

When I first started this journey I never took my measurements :blush: However I did start taking them after I'd been doing this for 2 months, sure enough I checked them and although the scale wasn't showing a loss, the measuring tape was :biggrin: I've lost 32.5" since I started measuring myself, which makes me feel great!

I can't complain about my lack of weight loss anymore, since it's kicked back in again  :yippee: I've lost another 5 lbs since I last posted, so I'm at 90 lbs lost now, which is AMAZING! Only 10 more lbs to go until I hit the big goal that I set for myself.

I want to thank everyone here for all of your support and encouragement :grouphug: Everyone here is doing so amazing, you guys should be giving yourselves a pat on the back. You deserve it!
